The two hours plus I spent on this book is worth it. I would love to reread it again. Very relatable, funny, understandable. And a great portrayal of a Gen Z protagonist. No exaggerated facts here or there, just pure beauty. The build up is absolutely worth it and the writing style too. I have a lot to learn from this. Great kudos to the author
This book provided a solid character foundation, and I thoroughly enjoyed each chapter. This book should be recommended to every reader; they definitely should give it a well-deserved try. My favourite character is Theodore Oops! spoiler alert.[img=gift]
I liked the novel, the MC is smart and knows how to follow his interests, which is a very good thing for MC for me, the idea behind the role is also not too repetitive and maintains a bit of distinction, and the writing style is beautiful and easy to understand and imagine, everything is good and wonderful through these first chapters that I read 👌
Love this story. Plus, the concept in it is super interesting. Also, I like how the cheat doesn't make him a billionaire instantly, and it slowly ramps up. Also, the dynamic between the character and that face slap. Lovely. Would 100% recommend.
I have read a couple of chapters because the story seems interesting but I rarely saw that level of stupidity outside of Chinese xianxia with the amount of red flags showing up by his mere existence and thinking. I can already see the problems showing up with the authorities in both worlds that will be solved by others improbable reasons and brain dead people. Before the excuse of character progression, you can’t grow a functional brain and common sense as a young adult. The first priority in everything he does should be secrecy and passing under the radar but he threw that out the window within hours of starting.
Sorry for my English, but I love reading so much that even a translator doesn't bother me. The title is wonderful, short, concise and meaningful. The beginning is unusual, unexpected and new. It feels fresh and interesting. The plot unfolds wonderfully, interestingly, and you read each chapter with enthusiasm. The conflicts seem interesting and keep you from getting bored. The characters are ambiguous. The protagonist is actually no different from the rest of his family; he also got involved with his grandfather for the sake of inheritance. No matter how the author tries to justify him, a grown man could have found a job, and the ‘despair’ mentioned is not felt at all. Therefore, from the beginning of the story, the protagonist does not come across as a positive character. The elf from the tavern, an ordinary waitress, is an unrealistically useful character. She will tell you which artefacts are fake, which trading chambers exist and their complete history, and which law to use to protect yourself. In short, she is too convenient a character. The slave, in my opinion, changed too quickly, literally in a week or two, and she is already 100% loyal to the protagonist. I understand that the protagonist treats her like a human being, gives her gifts, and saved her twice, but it still feels like too quick a change. The protagonist, on the contrary, blossomed after buying the slave. He developed a sense of humour, became sharp-tongued, in short, became a charismatic character. However, there was one negative change. It was said that he was not a fighter, winning his first fight with rats solely thanks to his dagger, but later, in the alley against a professional killer, he acted like an experienced fighter. Did he train somewhere? Where did he get this knowledge? In short, where did these changes come from? The mystery behind the scenes is intriguing. So, I recommend it, the work is definitely worth your time.
Romance? Harem? And please don't drop, I love the concept.
The author takes time in some areas but a very solid story overall [img=recommend][img=recommend][img=recommend]
