i really liked this book and how much scheming the MC is. So i went MTL, then i realized i had eyes but couldnt see Mount Tai. The translator is doing gods work and actively improving the chapters. while the plot remains the same, he is removing the chinese young master and shitty elements and making it english audience friendly, otherwise it will no longer be a naruto fanfic but a chinese cultivation in naruto fanfic. i salute u author for the work u have done. if you looking for great scheming fanfic then you are wrong, the scheme in this novel are just road to romance, he doesn't have a goal other than escaping konoha, which he will abandon later, "7 years if torment just for a smile" is repeated over and over, but he will hold no grudges to Tobirama anymore, the one who causing all of this (the plot), as for 4 Konoha higher ups, it will be long, long stretched story to revenge on them, so if you expecting all of this, just know that this is romance, author made MC spineless unknowingly cuz all of it.

the first chapter is enough to make me drop this shit... all it contains is nonsense, and the story is build on that nonsense... a lot of plot holes that i had to shut my brain down to just advance, maybe it would get better, but not at all

grammer is ok story its self is non sense, why is the mc choosing to just accept and help konoha after what there so call hokage did. Mc is a slave really no sane man or woman would accept and simply go along like he is.

Although the reason behind Tobirama's actions seem a bit too shallow, like I genuinely believe he won't do all that just because of a strange smile... But the story overall is a pretty good read, the mc is cautious and does not act recklessly. The only thing which slightly concerns me is that he has no cheat except for Tobirama's talents, and yes, you might think that it is good enough, but remember there was a reason war erupted at the moment Hashirama died, despite Tobirama being the hokage. He was strong, but not nearly strong enough. Anyways, the translator has done a great job, and it's a fantastic read🥳

There is something deeply wrong with this novel. Writing, character, story all is great but the biggest problem is that the whole story is set up to make you unbearable angry for the unjust that happened to MC, which is usually a great setup for revenge troupe but MC later change his goal means you'll never get the release of all that anger. All you'll get is be a better person, take the highroad type shit in the name of character development, which is nonsense imo. I'm not one for faceslap troupe but now i realized there is something worse than faceslap, its setting up that troupe without giving it the ending it deserves.
