Delayed Ascension

In the veil of the world live the Other—supernatural beings whose existence is whispered in legend and romanticized by fools . Among them are the Draugr, immortal creatures bound by ancient customs and power .Hildr , a woman of "grace" and beauty ,a princess of these terrible creatures .



Born into power ,Hildr is no ordinary Draugr. She is a force of nature, caught between the suffocating expectations of her royal lineage and nightmares that hope to lead her onto another path as old enemies wake from their slumber and great beasts break free of their shackles .



Hildr must decide to grab onto power and ascend above all else if she is to preserve all she holds dear while trying not to kill too many people along the way .
