Synopsis

Lucas, a die-hard One Piece fan, never expected to wake up in the world of pirates and devil fruits. Armed with knowledge of the original story, he thought he’d breeze through this adventure—until reality hit him like a Haki-infused punch.

At first, he assumed his meta-knowledge would let him coast through adventures like a protagonist.

Then reality sank in like a Sea King’s bite.

"That lion is the size of a battleship! One swipe and I’m mincemeat!"

"Giants. ACTUAL GIANTS. Why is their sneeze a windstorm?!"

"Nami’s temper is scarier than Arlong. Robin’s smile hides murder. HELP."

"I miss WiFi. And not fearing death by volcano fist."

Yet through sheer dumb luck (and a lot of screaming), Luke ends up as the Straw Hat Pirates’ vice-captain—a role that terrifies the World Government more than Yonko alliances.

Marine HQ’s Nightmare Reports:

- Garp & Sengoku: "Vice-Captain Vane’s tactical genius rivals his cowardice. A volatile combination."

- Akainu: "That scheming rat must be erased from history."

- Nami/Usopp/Chopper: "Wait… this guy outranks us?! He hid behind me five minutes ago!"

- Luke (mid-panic): "LUFFY! ZORO! STOP LAUGHING AND SAVE ME!"

Story Arcs:

Early Volumes: A shrieking liability. (Think: Usopp-tier courage, but with better running shoes.)

Mid-Later Volumes: Dark, research-driven metamorphosis. (Imagine Orochimaru if he feared his own test subjects.)

The MC starts off as a total coward—weak, hesitant, and downright obsessed with his favorite character (think fangirl-meets-idol levels of admiration). If you're not into cringy, starstruck protagonists, you might want to skim through this part. Things take a sharp turn into dark, research-driven territory—imagine the MC slowly morphing into someone like Orochimaru, with all the chilling, methodical madness that entails. The tone shifts dramatically, diving into twisted experiments and morally gray pursuits. Perfect for readers who enjoy character evolution from pathetic to terrifying—just push through the early cringe for the payoff!

the story is excellent 👌, though the MC somewhat annoys me with the way he acts, it's like giving a gun to a baby.

Im sorry this book isnt bad, but your writing style is too chaotic for me, i dont understand why you need to add the mood values at once instead of just adding the total, plus the mc doesnt even think he just does stuff…

Mc has a gacha system, but he isn't instantly the strongest in the verse. He also fits in well with the crew.

This is my first review. I quite like the story and how the mc interacts with the cast. He honestly feels apart of the world and stays consistent personality wise. It’s also great that the character isn’t overpowered by chapter 15 and still needs to overcome not only enemies but their own fears. Can’t wait to see this character develop more. I only ask as you continue is that you don’t get weirdly homophobic or transphobic when it comes to Lgbtq+ characters in the story. I know some authors get like that, when it’s unneccessary.

It isn't bad, everything is well though I would like it If the chapters were more and longer. They feel short in my opinion, probably they are. So that's all for now there is much story development right now for me to say more.
