“But you said you were a monster,” I whispered, almost afraid of his answer. “You told me to stay away.”
“Because I am.” He turned his back on me—and shifted back, thank God. “And I don’t know if you’ll be able to handle me.”
My voice betrayed me. “What if I can?”
His eyes flicked toward me, unreadable.
“What if I can handle you?” I added, heart thundering.

Love.
To her, love is pain. Love is betrayal. Love is what had hurt her before.
Xavier, the bastard son of King Arnold, sees himself as a monster—unwanted, unloved, and unworthy. With blood on his hands and secrets in his heart, he’s never let anyone close.
Until her.
What happens when two broken souls collide—one made to destroy, the other born from ruin?
When desire becomes dangerous…
Can love save them—or destroy them all?

It's an awesome book would recommend, loving the vibes already and i hope for steady updates.
The first person POV is good but still needs work. the story itself is interesting and i have a lot of questions but I can't wait for more chapters and to see you grow as a writer. Good Job 👍
Loving the book so far. I wish more people can see it and read it as well, it's very interesting and also loving the character dynamics I'm seriously shipping Eliana and Xavier.
Loved the opening, love how your female lead is respectful, kind, realistic and relatable. Honestly she's great but I haven't finished the book so I'll leave this for now as I continue. Just hope she doesn't instantly turn submissive to that darn male lead, a girl needs a spark in her to make it more appealing.
This book is really great, I really hope the ao author keeps publishing
Nice attention-grabbing Intro. The details in the first chapter were great, making me want to continue to read; in other words, it was not boring. Then I liked that there are elements that I could relate to in my life and oh boy I love that you also narrate different Pov of each character, it makes the story more narrative and descriptively rich
