Synopsis

"Ding, detected that host’s age has reached thirty, system will now activate. Confirm activation...?"

...

"No no no no!!!!!!"

"Detected strong rejection from host. System entering cooldown. Complete accumulated tasks to unlock. During cooldown, host’s age will remain at thirty as punishment..."

"??????"

In the second year of Konoha, just as Uchiha Madara was about to leave the village, a curly-haired man blocked his path. Madara’s expression softened slightly.

"Cousin, you don’t need to persuade me. My mind is made up."

"Little cousin, it’s a harsh world out there. I don’t have much to offer you, but take this. Don’t let yourself suffer outside."

Uchiha Gin shoved a storage scroll into Madara’s hands and bid him farewell with tears.

Years later, while resting after capturing the Nine-Tails, Uchiha Madara absentmindedly opened the scroll his cousin had given him. Staring at the mountain of gold bars and several strange ninja tools he’d never seen before, he fell into deep thought.

I don't like it, the story relies too much on the system and it often gave stupid task like save your clan's enemies. The characters also follows your usual Chinese tropes and their unchanging dialogues. The interactions were too frustrating and follows your typical making the MC look smarter by making everyone else dumb as a rock.

This fanfic is a daring, emotionally-charged reimagining of the Naruto world that dives into the shadows of the Uchiha clan with a unique angle—Gin, a modern soul in a broken prodigy’s body, navigating old grudges and buried conspiracies. The story masterfully blends canon elements like the Senju conflict with original twists, creating a gripping “what if” scenario. The pacing is sharp, the emotions hit hard, and the battles carry real weight. One of its greatest strengths is how it explores both the personal struggles of its characters and the political undercurrents of the clan wars, showing how one choice can change everything. It’s a must-read for Naruto fans who love darker AU takes with high drama and layered characters.
