In the late 21st century, an unknown artifact appeared in Earth's orbit. Years later, animals jumped millions of years forward in evolution, developing mutations that turned them deadly enough to threaten humanity’s extinction.

The Bastions were developed—walled continents where civilization survived. The threat did not end; it was controlled, but it grew.

Gates began to spawn, spilling highly evolved monsters into our reality.

To survive, humanity developed serums from the very monsters that haunted their reality, birthing the Kaos Warriors: the frontline defenders of humanity.



300 years later...



Ares was just another comfortable Denizen with a shielded life and a simple goal of getting rich and living a wealthy life behind the walls.



But when invaders destroyed his home and his walled continent, Ares's dreams were crushed, and he found a new purpose for his existence.



To seek the very absolute of strength. To become the grim reaper that welcomes the invaders to our reality. To become the terror that these monsters are to his.



This story follows the growth of Ares as he gains a mysterious system from an unknown figure. It explores a world where evolution is achieved through serum mutation, a world order ruled by the most powerful, and a futuristic society where technology was not left behind.
