Welcome to the world of a 007 like femme fatal.

After 2 years of banishment, the now bartender Daniel Heinrich was back in the game again. Summoned by the woman who ruined his career – or so did he claim- he was invited to solve the mysterious death of the founder of Natural. Working alongside Velika O’Sullivan, he slowly discovered the forbidden secrets of this family-owned agency, and how nobody was who they pretended to be. As his affection for her slowly started to grow, he began to uncover the truth about her, the peculiar woman with a twisted past, the woman who he never learned what her real name was. It all accelerated when her husband, who disappeared 10 years ago appeared in front of them as a test subject in a research facility. When he left his bartender job, Daniel Heinrich thought he finally could control his life again, only to realize it he was nothing but a puppet. And those who in charge were desperately trying to get rid of each other for their own good. Who was the man claimed to be Velika O’Sullivan’s husband, yet shot her point-blank without any hesitation? Who did Velika O’Sullivan truly work for? Why would she risk her life every day when she absolutely didn’t have to? In the hidden corners of Los Angeles, lied the dark world of Natural.

I've been keeping an eye out for it since it started. Personally, I think it slides off as underrated/unnoticed. I've never written a review but I think this one deserves some attention. The writing is fine and the story is exciting with dark twists, I encourage you to give it a try.

It' s pretty good. The story is a little bit slow burn but worth the time. I actually like how the characters all kind of have tragic backgrounds.
