Synopsis

It was something extraordinary, really, that led me to him. A twist of fate. A twist of luck. But pure chance, certainly not. Especially here, there, in my home town.

Frances has just a few lines, but stage fright takes hold and she flees, ambushing an unsuspecting man intent of grilling a cigarette in peace. Tristan is as handsome as he is genuine; he helps her shake her fears.

Friendships ensues... which might turn to more.

Be warned: love, angst, divorces, marriage and babies ahead ! Get ready for Festival de Cannes as well !

‘The relishing quietness’ words like these really put together a story, I love the way you have written it all and I love how well everything is explained, great plot and I am looking forward to read more :))

My first impressions are very good, the exchanges between inner dialogue and commentary to conversations and explanations are fantastic. I like how the book stays consitantly in first person format and that it switches between his and her point of view. All I can say is Author has a masterful writing technique and is very adept at describing feelings and emotions. While romance is not my genre and I'm a little sad you don't write fantasy I would definitely reccomend giving this a read!

First, this book is definitely a great read. The smooth exchanges of dialogues between the characters keep me smiling. The narratives and story background are clear and written well. 💞 Writing quality there are few grammar errors and I bet it is probably caused by the auto-correction app or website since it also happened to me most of the time. Overall this book is great and I love it! This is definitely going to stay in my collections 🥰 Superb work author! Greatly recommended!

It feels like I'm reading an actual western published book. The world background especially good. It kinda made me feels I'm actually experiencing the place and their culture. I'm guessing it's either the author lives at the said place or doing an enormous amount of research of the place and era before writing it. The characters talk using lots of terms that usually only English speakers often used, so I'm guessing the author might be a westerner, or just have doing a lot of research about the characters and their accent.

The author's introduction of the characters, the subtle way she writes about their dreams and inner conflicts is very good. The narrative flows smoothly and the initial pages make you want to keep on reading till the end. Please release more chapters soon.

Wow! That's the first word I think of for this book. I love the genuine scenery and raw emotion the Author illustrates through their writing and the characters are just lovely. Throughout the chapters I've read so far I feel as if I'm there witnessing all that's going on first hand. Truly wonderful! It's five stars from me~

The genre of this book is not my style at all and yet I found myself drawn in by the wonderful descriptions and beautiful slow burning romance. The author has a way with words thats almost soothing to read. Now I have an itch to travel to Norway just to see the beautiful scenery that was so we'll described. I would definitely recommend.

It's a slow one.....how can I put it? Yes, like wine! The initial chapters may seem sooo still....but as u read on, u will be sucked into the story. I'm nt a fan of too huge age gap love stories, but then I ignored it here. The story is too sweet. It has the "old-english-novels" kinda vibe. Grt work author!!! Love it❤️ Nyc language too.
