Follows the perspective of four teenagers. Lena is in the eleventh grade struggling with a difficult past when she and her best friend of several years stop talking the summer before high school. Prim bored of her life and youth waiting for high school to be over. Gabe, best friends with the two eleventh grade girls, who simply wants to confess his feelings. Alexa, Lena's younger sister and a ninth grader, who wants to escape her sisters shadow.
