A Puppet's Heart: Two Strings Attached
Kamen Matsouka, a Japanese graduate, becomes unsuccessful in his life. He works at a part-time job for three years, gets disowned by his parents, and has no relationship with anyone else. Kamen needs to have a purpose in life and wants to end things here and there, not until a burglar shows up inside the convenience store he is working at. He saves a girl and takes a bullet in his chest.
By the time he wakes up inside an unrecognisable cavern, a girl in a gothic dress fixes his limbs and body. Her name is Alice, a princess who has escaped the befall of her kingdom. She is the kindest woman Kamen meets in his life.
Kamen finally has a purpose. He vows to protect the girl from the treacherous kingdom with guns, modern technologies, and tanks at their disposal. But Kamen becomes a doll, not a real human being. The girl has created him to keep her company inside her isolated cave. He also wants to become human and become one with the girl. The two will embark on a quest to find this Fountain of Life, a potion that will grant an individual life. Since the girl is also a princess, Karmen includes himself in her royal political issues in girl's fallen kingdom.
In an unfamiliar world where magic and guns clash, will Kamen and Alice defend their empire and bring peace? What happens next is for you to find out…

There is only 4 chapters so far. But each chapter sure packed substance! I loved the detailed world building. The author really did a good job in painting the harsh atmosphere. In 2 chapters, I feel like Kamen and Alice are real and relatable characters. The story is just getting started. The two have hit rock bottom. The synopsis sure makes me excited. I can't wait to see a comeback story of the two! Please keep up the daily update!
Will hold off adding more chapters for this book. I will focus more on "NPC CODE RED" and "NERFED HERO" Sorry for the sudden haitus! Will return to write more about this if I receive a contract~!
So far it was a good read. The story is quite interesting and promising. I liked how author has represented everything. Simple yet interesting writing made me emerge into it. Keep it up. Waiting for new chaps.

The plot is interesting. So far there are 11 chapters, so deciding on whether the story's development would be hard. The characters are pleasant and well described. The author seems to have a unique writing style. With the use of uncommon descriptive words, the author was able to grab my attention. I have no complaints when it comes to the world background and stability of updates. Keep up the good work author!!!

I have perceived no flaw with this book! The writing quality is exceptional, the grammar equally as good and it's written in a very smooth and flowy way. The story has still not been fully explored so far and a lot of mystery keeps me looking forward to more yet what has been shown was very interesting and the whole premise is original. The descriptions are beautifully done and immersive. Keep up the great work!!
The story will hook you right from the First chapter. I originally planned to read only 10 chapters but the story was so good that I could not stop myself from reading more. I really loved the plot, background everything. Thank you for this story author
Love the story concept. Too early to say much about the world build, but what is there is on point. The characters really stand out and draw your attention. There was a chapter in there that really drew me in with his emotions and thoughts. There is a few writing errors, but nothing that detracts from the story or couldn’t be fixed with a quick edit. In love with the story so far, keep up the good work!

At first i doesn't think much about it i read the third chapter and realized what is this about and i love it! and the languge use here is very attractive. This genre has been done a lot of time but this one have a really interesting premise. i can't help but want to learn more about what will happen next in the story , I will be looking forward for more episode and this is going into my libary for sure. keep up the good work!

The story left me hanging in suspense as to what the MC's future will be. the quality of writing is superb and you can easily imagine what the author wants us to visualize. Great start Author-nim!
