Bai Zhongming was a promising idealistic youth, who due to unfortunate circumstances, met an untimely end.
Reborn in an era that vaguely resembled ancient China, where cultivators governed the world and the law of the jungle was the de facto rule of the world.
How does a passionate idealist with a modern sense of ethics and morality cope in a world where the people are oppressed and exploited?
“If might makes right, then... For the sake of the common folk, for the sake of a better and more beautiful tomorrow. I, Zhongming shall become an unrivaled existence.”
Finally something interesting. All I can see in eastern fantasy are the system novels, all simply variants of each other. This one is finally something different.
At this point, I guess this is just another obligatory 5-star rating by the Author himself. Now much else to say I guess except for patting myself on the back...
My reviews: The scenery is nice to imagine. The quality of the writing is excellent. However, what pleased me most was the Enlightenment references!
The synopsis got me reading the whole thing right away. I have to say, this was a very good book! Highly recommend this for it gives unique concept from I've read before. Kudos!
Pros: 1. The world building is quite good, and there are still parts that I think the author has yet to develop, untapped potential I would say. 2. There are very less grammar errors, thus making the read quite smooth. 3. It doesn't begin like all Isekai/Reincarnation works, thus giving a unique perspective to the Isekai Genre. Cons: 1. The character Development feels quite weak. I feel like there is no insight into their personality, and if they have a sadistic side, how and why they got it. 2. The Updating needs to be a bit more regular, and thus makes reading the book worthwhile. Looking forward to the Author making these specific changes and looking forward to more!
A pleasant and promising read. The sentences flow well, as do the dialogue. The images are clear in my head and the characters speak how I would expect them to. It isn't robotic at all. Very well done!
It’s really good. I like the description and the scenary. The story makes it easy to imagine. I am hoping for further chapters that will progress the story even more. Good luck writing bud!
The first thing I'll like to point out is how admirable the wordings are. I felt like I got sucked into poetry. The characters development are just right. So much emotions poured into this piece to make it a masterpiece. Unique and memorable. Keep it up Author!
This novel is almost perfectly written. The plot is common but it's truly admirable that the writer managed to still let their story be unique. What impressed me the most was the structure of the world background, the language of the characters fitted nicely in the story. There were little to no grammatical errors making this an easy read but a few punctuational errors could be seen here and there. Overall, this novel has tremendous potential and I can see it being adapted into a comic. Keep up the good work. [img=recommend]
This is a really good read. The author has a good way of illustrating his characters into writing and I like the way he depicted the fighting skills well. 👍👍👍
Great Story, The concept is original so you won’t see a bunch of cliches and roll your eyes every time some pompous young lord gets humiliated by the mc.
The main character with ingenuity is hard to do sometimes but man have you made it work here good job on this Im certainly interested in reading more.
The author's writing quality is wonderful, you can imagine the scenarios, the reading was fluent. Love history with Chinese empire. I will continue reading this story.
Eastern fantasy books always gives a good amount of philosophy and knowledge. I really impressed with how you explain things. I love it! it's a good novel.
A good storyline, the characters are fascinating to an extent that grabs the readers attention. A beautiful picture is created through these words. Overall a nice novel.
