This right here is a hidden gem! Personally I actually doubted everything about this book when picking it. I doubted the picture, the name , heck even prejudiced over the fact it might be those Chinese authors with boring face slapping, or copying from other works or boring cultivation of 1 realm or world to next one!
Wrong, there's nothing lame of this sort, no fillers, no boring parts, no info dumps, next to none grammar mistakes, all pure content, entertaining and fun reads. This is a fresh book, a fresh novel from your same old cultivation novels, or beast taming novels, or harem novels, or kingdom building, face slapping, antagonists, villains, or ruthless, or smart mcs, yeah this is different from those novels, a totally fresh one. This is actually my 2nd 5 star review.
This is truly a hidden gem, give it a read, you won't regret it, if you doubt me just read the 1st 100 chapters and decide for yourself.

Hello, I'm back for a new and improved review after reading more chapters.
While I said that the MC is quite dumb before, I quite like that he's stsrting to realize mistakes he did. It seems that he has the ability to read mortals like a book but he choose not to because he wants some confusion which can help him design better games.
The games he is creating is starting to feel better or atleast more in-line with his ideas but players can still find ways to mess it up.
The character development is quite good for the MC but I don't see much on other characters (atleast from the employees). The games doesn't seem to be a copy of any modern or real life games which is a plus. Overall a really good read, some funny moments too.

This story is really amusing and creative. I like that the games aren’t just copies of what already exists and have their own spin to it. I also like the development of the MC as he gains more insight into fun and how he is more satisfied with his work every time he creates a game. It gives the story a feeling of progress.

When an Immortal does his best to understand "fun," but can't grasp the concept because he somehow lacks common sense and the understanding of emotions, you get Fang Cheng. This was a pretty light and enjoyable read. Nobody is on the same page as Fang Cheng. His entire being is beyond comprehension 😂😂 I feel bad for Wang. I still think Fang Cheng should recruit him as his company's exclusive game tester 👍

I’m about 2/3 thru, now that it’s done I will probably come back to this book. This book is prbacky the only book I kept grabbing privileges for beyond 2 chapters. It’s hard to get into cause it’s a bit werid. The main charachter goes back and forth a bit cause he is basically a immortal who is capping himself as much as possible to find an enlightenment on how people find joy.
The writing will sometimes switched perspectives to important players or figures of other realms but if you are able to read through them they were actually some of my favorite moments.
Spoiler:
Honestly later when he starts messing with another world and uses his players as labour to fix problems in places where his power might make problems were fun and I loved some of the local characters.

I didn't expect to like this, and I'm still not sure I like the MC, but I'm growing fond of him the more I read.I didn't expect to like this, and I'm still not sure I like the MC, but I'm growing fond of him the more I read. The descriptions of the games that he designs seem fun, but they're definitely never close to how he seems to be describing them in his head xD

Great novel. A different style when it comes to cultivation novels, this is the first novel that I've read that tackles what games actually are. Give it a try
