Adeline Weston is a peasant.

A lucky one, however, if you wish to call her that.

Her secret lover is one of the highest nobility; the prince of Ravenvale, Oliver Ambrose. Though, they’re forbidden to be together.

Nonetheless, she loves him with everything in her and he loves her just the same, even promising her that he would make her his queen when he takes over the kingdom.

But it’s mostly wish-washy. Nobility and poverty do not mix according to the laws; laws that result in a punishment as severe as banishment or execution if broken.

A peasant isn't supposed to be with nobility because they have nothing to offer. Or so his parents unfortunately pounded into the minds of their Kingdom.

But Adeline and Oliver try and think otherwise. They only want to believe that they're going to be a loving family and live happily ever after eventually. After all, they’ve been friends for 11 years so why couldn’t they make something work?





Perhaps it’s the fact that, not only was he cursed, but his entire family as well; A curse that made them crave human blood?



Or is it the other man she is to be wed to instead, in a nearly arranged marriage by the ones she loves?
