Ethan Li, a renowned dark director, famously known as the "Dark Cameron," never imagined he would be reborn one day! And in this new life, he found himself as a low-level Hollywood photographer.
In this case, I, Ethan, won’t hold back!
In my previous life, I worked with "Dark Scarlett" and "Dark Taylor." If I don’t get to direct the real Scarlett Johansson and Taylor Swift in this lifetime, making them strike eighteen iconic poses, wouldn’t that dishonor my status as a time traveler?
And so…
A legendary Hollywood director has emerged in this world!
He is the secret lover of Black Widow and the ex-boyfriend mentioned many times in Taylor Swift’s songs.
He is the creative king of the advertising industry and the music video director that top singers invite at sky-high prices.
He is a frequent winner of the Oscars and other major film festivals, the godfather behind the scenes in Hollywood, revered by countless stars.
Normally, Chinese authors who set their novels in the US get a lot of things wrong. But it’s usually that they just stick Chinese culture and norms into the US. And while that’s definitely the case here (things like bowing, the concept of “face”, restaurants all have private rooms, etc), the author goes so far as to not even know where Hollywood even is. Here’s a hint: Hollywood is not in New York City. Don’t waste your time on this wish-fulfillment dumpster fire. You’ll regret it if you do, and that’s time you’ll never get back.
You are doing a great job by translating this novel but it's good to stick to one name for the MC instead of alternating between Ethan, Don and Tang it causes typos which reduces interest in the novel.
a tad too unrealistic for me. This is purely wish fulfillment with zero fact check at all.

i was pleasantly surprised that the world building for the movies is quite realistic, other than making Holywood at NYC it is a pretty good story, i really like how the MC make a good movie becomes a franchise because i can see it happening, even if some scene is a bit unbelieveable it is better than a lot of translated stuff in this website
good story so far and all and the translation is also passable but the pace is too slow for me, 8 chapters and still doing the same thing or hasn't done anything substantial tbh
Your translated chapters in patreon are less than what I expected. Especially when this is a translated version. You shoud see sayonara and innit translators. Few in webnovels but many in their patreons.
Got me hooked from the start to the end . Hoping for more updates
Good story... can you please share the original Chinese novel name?
Good novel. Would love to see faster updates
Hi thank you for your support and welcome to all of you....
