Raphael’s heart skipped a beat, while Celest, unable to contain his fear, trembled on the spot, ready to give in to panic. Linfer, however, watched them all with absolute detachment. To him, their movements seemed slow, very slow. Even Luciel, moving at near-light speed, appeared frozen in time.



With a simple beat of his wings, Linfer floated above the surface of the blood-red sea, indifferent to the slowness of those around him. His dark claws gleamed faintly as he brought his index finger to his forehead, where an Omega symbol was engraved into his flesh. The symbol shimmered, radiating a terrifying aura, as a drop of black blood slowly emerged, suspended in the air.



The silence became absolute.
