I was translating this before and read till chapter 100—this is absolute garbage. i wanted to punch the mc so hard; he literally is the biggest pushover—created z-ring and other tech just to serve the "higher-ups," who then gave him a pseudo leg after humiliating him, and he is fine with it, and continues to to create other stuff like mega evolutions just for this

The top review of this fanfic is biggest proof that you really can't please everybody, @Phaeron critiqued that mc is a pushover loser that bend over backwards just to please the 'higher ups'. Now before going back to that, let's talk about the common prideful xianxia protagonists, yes those ones whose pride was strong enough that they'd rather die than admitting they were wrong and apologizing even when the opponent is vastly stronger than them. from the comments you see regarding these types, you'd think that everybody hates it, but that review reveals apparently that's not true. Apparently some people also want those overly prideful mc, because otherwise they'd understand more that the moves that the mc makes is actually pretty decent to save and acquire benefits to himself and they should realize that realistically there's literally nothing that the mc can do right now with his strength other than networking. Publishing the papers on those power ups is literally just like the real life version of creating something like the seatbelt and putting a patent on it. Do you think that those power ups gonna stay hidden forever? There's literally a bunch of scientists in the world, it will 100% get discovered eventually, better be the one to do it and get benefits and royalties from it. As for not lashing out at the 'higher ups' when they tried to short-change, that doesn't make him a pushover, that makes him a sensible person. Those 'higher ups' are literally the government officials, and in the first 100 chapter that Phaeron mentions he read, the mc literally only wield the powers equivalent to other normal high-schooler his age. The best thing he can do is as usual when you deal with the government, utilizing your networking and swaying public opinion, which he and his family did a good job on.

Personally I'd say I quite like it. Also guys, you don't need to mind the top comment by Phaeron, he's just capping. Sure it's by any means not a perfect masterpiece or anything, but it's definitely decent. And anything that the MC decided to do actually makes sense once you actually remember that the world resembles our real world more than it is the Pokemon world. Money, connections, and politics are not something you can simply overcome with the power of hard work like in the anime something.

I'd say it's a decent read, kind of a slow start tho, probably because the system is limited and not that powerful.

Awesome fanfic with a mc that needs capture only dragon pokemon tbe beginning was slow but you will get Snjfnfjdjdodjdjdjdjdjdjdjdjdjdjdjdbdndndndndndndndndjdjdjdjdjdjdndjdjdjdjdjdndjdjdjdjdjdjdjdn

it was a good fic, but it went from 5 to 10 chapters a day to 1, and the chapters are too short for just 1 chapter a day so it's gonna take months for it to get anywhere

This is a good story that I put in as a favorite, But I am wondering if you are considering putting in Hisuian Pokémon like Goodra which becomes an ancient steel/dragon type for Jacob in the story as a really rare prize from the system? Hope for answer keep up the awesome work on the story.
