Can faith be defied, or is the path of fate already written?
Johannes Freiburg, a young noble and rising mage knight, lives in a world where mana is divine and bloodline determines destiny. But when tragedy strikes and ancient truths begin to unravel, he finds himself torn between loyalty to his kingdom and a truth too dangerous to accept.
Across the divide, an outcast—born without divine blood and condemned by the scriptures—vows vengeance on the world that cast him aside. Two souls, bound by fate yet walking opposing paths, are drawn toward a single point of convergence.

Note: This story features two main characters: one is the classic hero driven by a desire to do what is right, while the other is an anti-hero, guided by vengeance and self-interest, walking a darker path to achieve his own ends.
Shameless author here! This is my first book, and I genuinely enjoyed writing it—so I'm giving it a 5-star review. As authors, we need to appreciate our own work first so others can too. I know Chapter One is a bit long and packed with lore, but it's essential for painting a clear picture of the world. I draw inspiration from One Piece when it comes to expansive world-building, and I aim to make this novel a benchmark for world-building in the dark fantasy genre
This book drops you into a world where the rich lore and political tension are just the beginning. The protagonist, Johannes, is a godblood mage-in-training at a prestigious academy. But things quickly spiral into chaos when the king is assassinated, and it all points toward the non-godbloods, a group that's been exiled and treated like outcasts. What I really liked was how Johannes starts questioning everything—the system, the gods, and his own beliefs. The world-building is strong, and the plot keeps you hooked with twists and action. Plus, Johannes is a relatable character, caught between duty and morality. The magic system, with its "manament" choices, feels fresh and plays a big role in the story. It’s a great mix of political intrigue, mystery, and personal growth. If you're into fantasy with a layered world and a protagonist who doesn't just follow the rules, you'll probably dig this.
it's still in it's early stages but if it keeps up the path I think it's following, then only greatness awaits this story. To me it has the qualities of a masterpiece
Each chapter feels like a tale of its own and liked the refernce u gave this world has a huge lore and is written in a way that the info given feels meaningful and the divide, conficts and all with their specific charecters and their aims really flesh out the story if the author continues his story it would be a next big hit.
