Gawkers Academy was supposed to be a small academy.
Runic Archaeology was supposed to be an insignificant course.
My life was going to be ordinary.
I was so very wrong!
Why is everyone so interested in me? I just want to be average.

Dean was mostly wrong. He was smarter than he thought he was. More careless than he would admit.
But what he lacked, he made up for with clueless charm.
His parents were amused - he wanted to be average but got admission to the most challenging class with the toughest requirements. How could he be so smart and so clueless at the same time?
His professors were stunned - he was a savant. His ideas ingenious. But why did his expectations for himself have to be so far off?
And his friends. They were almost as off balance.

I loved reading these few chapters. It's a little different from most novels I pick, without magic, revenge or cultivating, a main character that translates for the stories like many of us who learned other languages to play games, watch movies or listen music but in the hard way, by himself, without even noticing. I don't know anything about writing systems or decoding but the way that is presented makes interesting and together with the stories translated... it feels well thought, different of many others endless novels found here that is just a bunch of cliche things throw together. (That I enjoy reading as well...)
Has to be one of the best upcoming novels I've read. The plot is very interesting and is made even better with the author's description. If you haven't read this you're missing out.
