I am sorry to anyone who reads this but I no longer have any motivation nor ideas for this story. However I won't delete this story for readers who still want to read it. Either way, I hope you would find a better story after this to get rid of any disappointment you might have over this news. Sorry again and good luck.

Self insert reality singing/talent show with supposedly yandere boys? Sounds challenging to make work and it definitely is. A "Self Insert" story that doesn't need to be. Typically with self inserts- the character you're reader is more neutral or gives you more forgiving space for character interpretation. This reads more of the author's self insert- the (Y/N) has a clearly defined personality on the young/naive/plain side. There's nothing wrong with that, but if you're already giving her such a distinct voice and pathways, it might be better to just name her and proceed. It's very niche. A lot of references to reality talent shows and other such media. If you're not familar fans of such shows, you'll miss some jokes but otherwise can read through the story just fine. The writing quality is more than understandable. Plain but good workable grammar. There are definitely parts that are written in a confusing manner, could use editing. What throws me off is writing-wise are the save up lines by the male leads, their inner 'dangerous thoughts that sometimes seem to come out of nowhere. I understand where the author is coming from but with no build-up, the sudden dramatic line comes as cringey without enough to support it in the situation. Story Development and Characters seem to go hand in hand, this is s astory based on the characters. We're getting introduced to these males and that's the main point- but it's hard to stay interested/focused. To me there isn't anything to keep me interested on the (Y/N) let alone why these yandere love interests would turn their eye on her. The side characters are also rather flat and weak, as are their conversations. Songs pop up randomly, due to the setting and while I wish there was better indicators of them, that's a WN inkstone issue so no fault there. Maybe it's due to me not being as familiar with this type of genre, but I couldn't understand the world setting- even if it's very often mentioned to be a reality Talent show. Perhaps some more structer or rules of the show- some more challenges and natural ways for characters to be introduced/get to know each other? In the end, I'm left feeling confused to what I just read.
