Synopsis

In a universe similar to our own, the world is engulfed in another World War. The tensions in Europa had been satiated for twenty years, but now those same countries were at each other's throats again.

Midst the chaos is born a child, Magnus Charles Licinius, who gets conscripted at the age of 22 to go fight in Europa as part of the United Provinces of Columbia's war effort.

During his first battle, he is shot and crushed by a plane, and ends up in a weird city. After being "exterminated" in that weird dream, he wakes up again, unharmed. What will happen to Magnus as he travels across Europa in effort to end the war?

Pros: + Grammar and sentence structure is well done, making it mostly easy to read + Chapter length is decent, averaging 1k + Original plot and has a storyline differing to most novels Cons: - Few chapters - The way the MC received his powers is a bit a confusing, so the explanation on how he got it would need more clarification for a reader to understand - A lot of chunky paragraphs could use some shortening to make it an easier reading experience Conclusion: The novel is well written with few grammatical mistakes. Its world is well described and explored, although could’ve been explained more gradually than all at once. Events have enough detail to not make it feel rushed, and the characters apart from the MC could use more describing for the readers to better understand not just the MC, but the people around him. Sincerely, Robespierre_K

I am hOOked!!! One cannot simply read one chapter of The Omniscient Conscript a day. This period war-sci-fi balances the characterization of a manga and the thematic depth of an old war novel into a genre blender that has you involved in the characters and story. At the time of this review the book has recently started, so I can’t wait to see what directions this book will take. Shoutouts to my boi jack. I will be back for more!!!!!

Whoa. It reminds of Saga of Evil Tanya and A reincarnation to Spider (anime), both were great and so this story. I guess every commentator here can agree to one thing, every chapter has an intriguing vibe to it, creating your imagination to expand and vividly imagine the scenes. The storyline was excellent, plots were well thought out. Storytelling is impressive. Thus, a deserving 5 star for this story. Keep up the good work, Admin. ❤

The book is intriguing -- and pardon me I had to search for the meaning of conscript, haha. Anyways, the writing is pretty much good. Text is grammar-wise, however, for me, it lacks a few descriptive elements (which explains the short chapters as well). I suggest the author needs to play with words, and add details so the reader can relate to the character. Overall, the story has solid potential. Best of luck with your writing.
