"Actually, the slice-of-life atmosphere is very strong and enjoyable. However, there are quite a few mistakes that end up overshadowing the strengths of this novel. Issues such as the use of emoticons, repetitive and limited vocabulary, and a lack of emotional pull. In my opinion, the beginning could have allowed readers to feel the same emotions as Jay, but your writing obscured all of that. Try improving the quality of your writing; I'm sure this novel will be delightful."
