I'm hooked from the first chapter. It's not even my favourite genre.
Martial Arts and Mechas, quite an interesting combination. This is my review based on the free chapters (up to 18). You get a glimpse of the MC, Feng Yi, and what he is capable. He has all the usual characteristics of most fantasy genres: handsome, capable, strong (overpowered but with the ability to take it down a notch or two) and standing out in the spotlight. The only thing he doesn't have to his name is wealth. Yes, there are beautiful girls, though the author does well not to sound creepy when describing them. one chapter mc is hardened orphan growing up on a prison planet, the next he kind hearted escorting a family to safety, then the next he crying as he ends the the pain of a dying mech pilot, and as shows his admiration for the Chinese spirit. The problem is all the filler characters like he does not even describe the father, mother, and two teenage daughters then they are gone. so over powered mc, old deceitful grandpa's, beautiful girls who are ther as plot filler then disappear. I lost interest
