Penny Wise High School follows the lives of five high school seniors - Karen, Amelia, Grey, Ken, and Dani - attend a party at one of Grey's parents' vacation homes. The night takes a deadly turn when a game of paintball becomes a real-life murder mystery. As the body count rises, the group must survive the night while navigating a complex web of secrets, lies, and love triangles. Karen harbors a secret crush on Amelia. Grey is the Mayor's son, who is secretly in love with Karen. Ken has a soft spot for Dani.

Dani is the daughter of the school's proprietor, and it's no secret she loves Grey.

After the five of them and few others get out alive, they go back to live their normal lives but they realise they can't. The secrets they share is overwhelming and exhilarating. The murderer comes back to kill the survivors one by one. The young teens try to stay alive while navigating their love lives.
