I’ve always been interested in Games of Thrones, but the more unappealing parts like cheating and such bothered me, so I’ve never dived too deep into reading or watching it. However this novel doesn’t have any of that to the MC at least, also thankfully no yuri too. The amount of GoT fanfics that have yuri really just disappoints me. The writing for this fic is amazing, it definitely has that feel of GoT with a very likable and strong MC. From what little I do know of the show and story, the other characters do feel in line with their actual parts. If I had one complaint would probably be my worry of the MC feeling the weight of his responsibilities, in turning to being an emotionless being. However the author has me convinced into reading and waiting for more. Give it a shot!
