This is extremely disappointing. I was expecting to read quality Kaito Kid ff, only to find this chinese slave of an mc. To start with; The challenge letter isn't even a riddle. In the first chapter, it just wrote that he would come at midnight through the rooftop. Just written fancily. No mention of what specific day he would come, why, or what he would steal like the actual Kaito Kid would. Secondly; As expected of CN ff. The MC is CN and said that Dragon country is the best in the east. And what he stole is CN item in british museum. Thirdly; As usual, the characters are dumb af. He came by flying, and then surprised when he left the same way. No one protected the rooftop at all, though it can be excused since it's only his third time stealing. And he has too much fan even though it's only his third time stealing, and first time stealing from big place. Fourthly; I have a strong proof that the system is made in CN, cause after giving points for successfully stealing, the system told MC that he would get double that points for returning that item he stole to Dragon country. And lastly; This isn't a big problem, especially since I quit at chapter 6. But the only magic trick-like moves that he used was throwing a card to cut the CCTV cable. That's it. I'm not gonna complain about how MC didn't look like he knows anything about magic at all since this is a template ff. As for the TL, it was good. Like, really good. Been awhile since I read a ff with such a good translation. If it's just the TL quality, then I would give 5 ⭐
The transition is amazing and I love how constant the update schedule is which just makes the experience even better. I’m interested to see where the story progress
