Read until chapter 7. BORED as Duck..... Like the idea of giving a new devilfruit but definitely not interested in an OWL OWL one. Like, come on at least make the fruit sound a little interesting then owl-owl fruit. The writing quality is good. Liked the fact you didn't rush the story and make him OP in 2 chapters. BUT THE OWL THINGY GOT ME........PEACE

I love this novel it's a rare thing to see something new like this so please don't leave this novel without writing the last chapters , i look forward for what you going to do in the future , good luck

It's a well written and thought out fanfiction. However there's too many chapters where we follow other characters, similar to movies, instead of following mc. It's just prolonging the plot and feels like fillers. Even though I like this fanfiction, I hate that we have to read two or three chapters from other people's perspective.If you want to build up a good backstory for side characters, do it through dialogue instead of wasting chapters on it. Though this might just be my problem with this since in the comment section, other people seemed happy with what the author was doing. Mc is realistic, in the beginning a bit of a beta wuss, however as he sets out to journey through the one piece world, he starts to become a real captain. Though I can't be too sure about that since the 31 chapters I've read, he's barely started his adventure.

Im quite happy to see creative stories like this that doesn't follow the cookie cutter fanfic mold of an mc who coincidentally has a lot of combat experience from their previous life, gets a devil fruit which is usually a logia, and is immediately op. It's truly nice to see actual character growth both mentally and physically while not being ridiculously weak. Add that to the fact that the author is willing to not follow the Canon route and be a strawhat, but instead has his own crew and adventure makes me look forward to this story. The only problem I have is the fact that this story doesn't have a lot of chapters right now.
