Pain obliterates fear.
Amber Santiago is the youngest and the only pack warrior who’s survived the annihilation of the Great Santiago Clan twelve years ago, and the West Crescent Pack is now under the command of a new Alpha who’s taken her under his wing due to her tragic past.
Every year, the Werewolf King officiates an event—one that urges everyone to show how capable they are; a battle where strength, willpower, and mental toughness are being measured methodically. Amber plans to join the match as she enters the age of legality.
The task is simple.
Execute the person who’s named on the letter, and the Werewolf King will grant one of your wishes.
There’s no need to feel remorse because all of the listed names are death-row prisoners—criminals who have committed heinous crimes in their lives. The only catch is, both fighters won’t be given a handicap.
If you lose, you die.
Will Amber succeed on her way up? If she does, what could be her wish?
This story is quite impressive with its lengthy chapters but no exposition dumps seen. Although the update is once a week, considering the chapter's length gives you about 4 to 5 chapters equivalent to 12-15 pages per normal chapter length with other novels. But still I can't get enough of it. Haven't seen any flaws yet (if there would be) with the storyline and the MC's backstory and (initial) development are well thought of and progressive in detail respectively. As for the world building, every thing was already depicted from the start.
Intriguing and immersive story.. Makes my mind wander off when i'm reading in bed or on the ride to work. Hope to see more in the near future! Goodluck!
I’m a sucker for long chapter updates, and the author delivers. Primary characters are well-written. Their backgrounds were described intricately. What got me hooked in particular was the last part of Prologue! [img=fp]
Very impressive story...😍can't wait for the next chapter that is why I always buy coins..even I'm at the office I keep reading because the story is good..maybe they can give more coins so that I can read longer

This is exceptional that sometimes I feel like I’m watching an anime/I can visualize an anime straight out of the chapter scenes. Amber is an amazing character and I’m excited to see how this one progresses. I seriously need more updates from you.
WQ: top notch. Update: lengthy chaps. SD: exciting pacing, leaves me wanting more. CD: from a legendary clan, an orphan now (interesting!). WB: wolf, but they have their own country + culture + pack specialty (?). Btw, it deserves my 5. Amber is OP!
Glad that this wasn’t one of the typical “mate!!”, “you’re mine!!!” werewolf books. Don’t get me wrong, I do love romances but it’s tiring to see the same lines over and over again. From what I’ve read so far, I can say that this would make a good action-fantasy story. The FL’s development every chapter – hats off.
I have no comment. Everything is so good. Amber issa mood. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ She’s growing stronger every chapter and someday, I know she’s gonna be the STRONGEST. It’s written in her fate. Grateful for your long chapters, they intense too! [img=recommend]
I absolutely agree with the review above saying that its plot is intriguing. This is new since the focus isn’t on the concept of “mates” (or is it too early for me to say that?). Anyhow, I just know that there’s more to the Santiago clan than meets the eye, and I’m down for the ride. Kudos! [img=update]
Thank you for a good story. It has a lot of potential. Every chapter leaves me wanting more. You’ve been generous with the chapter’s length so far. It’s refreshing.
I’m checking the app for updates everyday actually. Your book is a rare gem. The description of werewolves here, including their pack history was detailed. War, betrayal, indebtedness. I love it.
Really curious about the Alpha’s son. The female lead’s potential is a mystery to me. I like the fresh plot. Keep it up with the compelling chapters! [img=update]
Moving. It’s my first time to write a book review on Webnovel. Amber is likeable, but I’m digging the father – Cain. I always found myself waiting for his appearance. The book also contains sports? That’s commendable.
