Synopsis

Yavanna was never supposed to marry the king of Nothad. But when her scandalous sister dishonours the kingdom, her mother and father discreetly swap her out for Yavanna.

Yavanna now must play the roll of her sister, the Queen of Nothad, as well as be married to a king who loathes her.

~~~~~~~~~
“I didn’t ask to be my sister.”
“Then why accept the role?!”
“I didn’t have a choice!”
The next instant his hands wrapped around her neck, choking her. Yavanna stared at him in fear as her oxygen ran out. Her hands flew to his hands to try and pry them off with her waning strength. The last sight she saw before her vision darkened were his blue eyes turning red.
~~~~~~~~

Our Male Lead will not be the nicest of guys in the beginning, but don’t worry. He’ll be really sweet later on ;)

Oh, and this is gonna be a slow burn (insert fire emoji) :)

I love the writing! The characters are well expressed and feel alive. This book seems to put a lot of emphases on the characters themselves, while having nice pacing for the plot! I would love to see where it goes!

Without a doubt some of the best writing on Webnovel. The words are fitting for the time period and mostly error-free. The story has great tension and the plot unfolds naturally as you get each character’s point of view. I hesitate to say much more because I do not want to add spoilers, but I have added this to my library and think it is a true hidden gem. The excellent first chapter will hook you and each chapter afterward will draw you deeper into the mystery as the new couple gets to know one another. Well done, aurhor!

I enjoyed this a lot, the beginning chapter was a great way to start off and left you wanting more. There was a good amount of detail but enough left out to allow the reader to use their imagination and create their own interpretation of the world & characters.

this book is hands down really good and interesting. I'm not really into the genre that this story is taking place in, but I put that all aside for the good stroy telling and top tier writing. the book is really fastbaced and if your into that kind of story then you'll like it. it's characters are well written and have some depth to them. the story has a few twists and tense momets that keep you thinking and wondering were the plot will go. but if I have to be honest there's one thing that I'd like to be improved and that's the world background, it's pretty good as is but I feel like there's some more potential to detail world building. I've read hydrangea of crescent which was written by the same author and I loved that book on how detailed the world is and I wish some of those elements were also moved on to this story. but i digress, the story is still good as is and I praise the author for her well written book.

the story background was quite smooth but main leads are irritating and why female lead turned out to be a witch but I think we should wait until the story is above 100 chapters

A slow burn novel that focuses on the interactions and relationships of various characters. The plot is spicy. The Pacing is smooth, not rushed, and not delayed. The setting and atmosphere are a perfect fit for the story. Overall, it's a story worth reading and recommending to other readers.

Classic married at first sight turned lovers story. The writing is done with care and tenderness, that is appropriate for the genre. The pacing and story development is perfect, just enough to let things simmer but not too slow. Updates are regular. The best part is are the characters You will find that Yavanna and Amory have very interesting interactions, and feel the spark right from the start. Also, MC has enough spunk that keeps you on your toes. The world background for the story is appropriate for the genre and not too overbearing or overwhelming. Overall, a highly enjoyable read in the romance genre that I am looking forward to more. Thank you, dear author, and please continue!

The premise seems interesting. It may seem generic at first hand but it isn't. I hope the ones reading this review at least read a few chapters before they judge it ;) Great story, great premise and an overall great story telling. Hope to see more :)

The writing quality is really good compared to the vast majority of novels in Webnovel. Although, I’ve still found grammatical and some punctuation mistakes. However, the story development is very interesting as it takes on two perspectives within the story. The plot is very refreshing compared to the dark or action genre novels that take up a lot of concentration. This makes the novel very relaxing to read; along with descriptive imagery that can help readers visualise every scene. Chapters have also been released daily, but there aren’t enough chapters to comment on the consistency. It would be best to use an editing website like Grammarly or ask someone to edit; since it might be hard for the author to spot their own mistakes. Regardless, good luck writing the rest of the book!
