Rhett never expected becoming king until he slayed an ice dragon out of self defense and fulfils an ancient dragon slayers prophecy which makes them to crown him as their king.
Transported to a gloomy and medieval like world, he is faced with leading the dragon slayers, the weakest of slayers among other slayers - demon slayers, gargoyle slayers, ghost slayers and shadow slayers.
But ruling isn't so glamorous as he had anticipated and he is instead a warrior, with a system like ability which he must level up by slaying Dragons.
And to his disadvantage, the world he is his controlled by SLAYERIOUS, an unknown and unseen entity. But that won't stop Rhett, he intends on dominating his world and even daring to slay the strongest dragon still alive, ruieen.
And who knows, he might just defeat SLAYERIOUS if he tries harder.
The only bad part Is that slaying the ice dragon is the first of a prophecy he will have to fulfill, as there are many more prophecies, ones that he must live up to.

"ALL HAIL KING RHETT! THE KING OF DRAGON SLAYERS!" A truly fascinating story! It got me hooked instantly and would not let go. I can't recommend this enough, and I wish the author the best and huge success with this masterpiece!
Ok so I'm writing a review about my novel to say a few things. This is a story about Rhett, who, living in an earth teeming with monsters and rare creatures due to some portals slays an ice dragon out of self defense and is made king of the dragon slayers by the dragon slayers. So he slays dragons and levels up his system like ability. So this novel of mine is quite unique, although it follows most of the troupes, I wrote something I think is quite a masterpiece. The MC is certainly not overpowered so don't worry, I gotcha. He will be powerful but not like a demigod. Also, he won't be a suffering type, he might suffer but I won't craft them into long hefty arcs and make you bored. The first chapters might be a little too rushed and jumpy but go through, I made them so for a purpose and you'll thank me later in the novel. The MC’s system appears simple and not too interesting at first but trust me, it will be in the later chapters after he attains a rank. No harem, there will be romance but I won't focus too much on it. Also, this is a plot twisting novel so be expecting some plot twists and mysteries. And before you drop the novel or give it a bad review, I'll plead you read all the free chapters first. This is my first novel, so don't expect it to be perfect. I can assure you it's good but not perfect. The story also has quite a world building which will impress you(I hope). Overall, this is a unique story with intricate characters and a sort of pragmatic approach to events. Also, treat this as a QA and I'll do my best to answer all the questions asked. Happy reading!.
It’s nice to read a story where the MC isn’t an overpowered demigod from page one. Shocking, right? The pacing’s great—no endless filler or lore dumps that make you question your life choices. Just a solid story where things happen without dragging you into a coma. Overall, the stakes feel real, and the MC actually earns their wins. 4.7/5 stars no drama.
Rhett is so adorable and entertaining! This is one of the stories where the main character is not overpowered at the first chapter, but gradually groww as time passes by. Rhett's personality and Ash's humorous nature would get you hooked on the story! Besides, this world has dragons! What more could you ask for?
Honestly, when I skimmed through the first six chapters, I felt like you’ve got some really nice touches, especially in the fight scenes. The way you described the dragon battle was exciting—it made me feel the tension and movement, especially when Rahit was facing the dragon head-on, and that moment when he noticed the mark on its face and the sadness in its eyes. It gave the whole scene a strange, deeper feeling. But honestly, I felt the dialogue could be a bit smoother. Like when Ash said, "Go on without me," it felt a bit cliché. You might want to add lines that feel more natural or reflect his personality better. And there were a few moments where the sequence of events felt slightly off, but that’s totally normal in early drafts. As for the world-building, I think it needs a bit more detail. What's the deal with the Kings’ Powers? Why are the dragons attacking? I got the sense that there's a big mystery behind everything, but there aren’t many clues yet. If you start adding subtle hints about the world's history or why the dragons are appearing, it’ll keep readers more hooked. Overall, the story definitely has strong potential, especially with your action scenes and the small details you include. Rahit feels relatable, especially when he hesitated to kill the dragon. And that moment when the arrow pierced the dragon? Honestly, it was an unexpected, brilliant twist. I felt like you planted a seed for a mystery that’ll unfold later. So, I think you're on a good path—you just need to smooth out the dialogue a bit and add more world-building details. And trust me, you've got something special here. 💯
Nice book with fast pacing. Love the confidence and determination if Rhett.
I like how lucky Rhett is🙃🙃, and how strong his fighting style is. The other characters are still in developing, and I wish to see more about them in the earlier chapters🙃
I love novels with dragons and seeing one, I'm so thrilled to be reading it. The MC , although he's king, his not overpowered. The world building is delicate and well crafted. My advice to other readers is to definitely Read this book!. Highly recommend!.
Though a bit rushed at some points the book does deliver a compelling narrative.
A great read, "Dragon Slayer", nice one. waiting for more chapters
"I slayed an Ice dragon and now I'm King of the dragon slayers" is an story packed with action, vivid world-building, and a protagonist whose grit inspires, this story is a thrilling ride for fans of epic fantasy and heroic quests. Rhett's struggle to survive and dominate in a realm where power is everything makes for a gripping, high-stakes adventure. Readers will be on the edge of their seats as they root for him to shatter Slayerious’s reign and rewrite the destiny of his world.
Since I'm not very skilled in languages, I can't provide a constructive review, but what’s certain is that I enjoyed the story, especially the beginning. It feels like one of those series we see on screen—humor and action are definitely there. As for the flaws to point out, I think your readers have given relevant feedback.
Interesting synopsis it inspired me a bit, I liked your first chapter it's fast pace. its really good, nice work author.
