Ley was cornered to a wall by Landon. Looking at his eyes, she couldn’t delay things any further.



“I don’t do relationships, Landon unless you want a fling,” she mustered the courage to tell him.



“What I have in mind for us is not just a fling,” he rasped while his gaze darkened.



“There goes your answer,” she shrugged him off but suddenly his lips descended on hers.

He kissed as if he wanted to possess her very being.



She pushed him away while gasping, “I thought you didn’t want a fling?”



“I said I didn’t want a fling, not that I didn’t want to kiss you,” he smirked before leaving her a searing gaze that spelled anything but over. —



Ley took a job to escape her Father’s command to go home to marry the heir he chose for her. The job was supposed to be simple and boring until she got involved deeply with the man she’s trying to protect. Will she stick with the lie she keeps telling her whole life or will she finally let it all go and embrace what she truly is?
