There must be around a thousand light novels of this kind by now. This is just the usual cliche story of genius becomes trash due to his qi being consumed by a grandpa in a ring. If you have read coiling dragon then don't waste your time with this.

Well, first, about this book being similar to other novels like BTTH...I guess sure. But I don't personally care that many books have similar premises as I'd rather have a well written "generic" novel rather than a poor written original. I mean at some level that's why you like a certain category of stories (ex. eastern fantasy, game novels, etc.). Because they share certain elements you enjoy. That said, there are some generic tropes in this category I don't care for that crop here. First, I don't care for interfamily fighting - it's just so stupid. And then I don't care when that ends up in blatantly stupid provocation that somehow the MC agrees to go along with. Just generic and dumb. But there also a few things I like. I like the MC's uncle who seems like a genuinely good guy. And then I like a couple of unique things about the MC's cheat. I like both his ability to improve/fix the flaws in a fighting art and I like his ability of precognition. Both elements are relatively uncommon and I wouldn't mind continuing to read this novel if it was chosen just to see how these abilities develop.

Trash novel. Nothing novel about this novel. The MC fell down in cultivation levels because of a ring sapping his juices so a genie grandpa OP cultivator remnant soul mist could be recharged. 🙄The ring with mysterious origins then imparts him with an OP cultivation method, and his cultivation again rises precipitously, and his energy becomes far more dense than cultivators at his level, allowing him to fight across level, but the cost is great increase in the number of spirit stones he needs to use to cultivate. 🙄 He also gains the ability to fix the flaws in all martial techniques he practices, again at the cost of spirit stones. 🙄All the people in his clan who used to laud him as a genius before he turned to trash turned against him, so now he's rising up he's facing high-ranking enemies in his own clan that want him dead and cultivators way above his rank provoke him to duel, and he accepts with a timeline that gives him time to get even more OP. 🙄 Shit novel, nothing new. And the pace is ridiculously slow. About a billion chapters were spent on him setting up bets for him to win a fight in an arena. Also, about a billion chapters are half in untranslated Chinese. Shit product from a **** author who doesn't care about the quality of his work, published by a shit company that doesn't care about the quality of the shit they take my money for. Shit, all around. Don't waste your time or money.

Yes, a bit too much like BTTH, but still its own storyline. I have seen this plot too many times to become invested. The plot does move if that is your kind of thing.

I just read the first chapter and it was amazing, I love how it goes into detail and I just can’t wait to read more. I think this book is going to be really good

This is a book that has words and a plot and characters. It could be considered a novel, but it's concept isn't very novel. I would rate it a solid three out of five stars, as that's the median score available. Please read for yourself if you like to read books.

I must say the synopsis basically said the entire development of the story. Like most people read a story or a novel to have the mysterious feeling of the plot slowly being unraveled. But this entire synopsis is like a spoiler to its on. Basically, the entire plot said the mc will succeed no matter what. It didn't even bother sugar coating the tone that the mc is always right and anyone that cast a disdainful glance to the mc or a lustful glance to the mc's soon to be waifus would be slaughter within the next hundred chapters. If you enjoy reading this novel, then you must have some serious inferiority-complex and could only read these type of things to boost your ego.

This story is really good, there are a lot of new plots every chapter and overall the design is really nice! I think this is the second best story I've ever read, behind I only level up, I suggest reading this!
