~You have to be careful or the darkness might just breach your walls when you least expect it.
Needless to say, you have to stay fortified. The word of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous runneth to it and is safe~
A war is on. A war between the light and darkness. As an age long push and pull ensue, which side will give in, which side will surrender?
The dark is scary and yet enticing. It is easy to fall off a cliff when the voice on the other side is so alluring, so sweet.

It's been eight months since Luke died in a freak accident that inevitably changed Adriel's life forever.
College has started and Adriel doesn't know how she would manage without her brother. Alex, his best friend just upped and left not being able to handle his death, the consequence being, she'd had to handle it alone.
Relief came in form of Jayden Crow a goergeous senior who gave her everything she needed and wanted. He was a drug and she was soon getting addicted, but wasn't that how the darkness worked?
Be the sweetest thing you've ever tasted until it becomes poison in your gut.
Everything was normal until he came and turned it upside down and she let him in till he became her ruin. He was the darkness and she was supposed to be the light.
Truths are told, faith is renewed, wounds are healed and strength is found—but at what cost?
The story is very well decribed and you can sense the twist in the story from the start itself. Also I like the way you described her every emotion, it is easy for the reader to imagine it and enter the character
First and foremost, I love your writing style and secondly, I'm in love with Adriel's character. Your book is very descriptive, and I really like that it has this enjoyable amounts of twists and turns which worked to capture my attention even from the very first chapter! This is a great story Author, good job.
This is Epic!, Adriel's character really portrays an adolescent personality and her description is really sensible. I love your choice of language too😊
The book has a promise of plot twists that can really set you in once you start reading. I used to like reading light genres but when I started to read this book, it has practically made me charge my phone just to wait for the next chapter. Hope you have the same experience.
Hmm, 'FORTIFIED' the name has a kind of intense feel to it❤. In a world where dark creatures and demons roam free, there is need to be 'FORTIFIED'...or the darkness just might get in.

Love the use of words that complement the story as a whole and the plot develops well throughout the chapters . Creative writing skill from the Author.
I have to say, this book is interesting as hell. I'm glad I read it first hand. The decriptions on each chapters were well delivered. Keep up the good work author! Fighting! ❤❤
Wow! I was hooked from the very start. The writing style is actually very satisfying to read if I'm being honest. Keep it up, you're doing amazing author!
Beautifully written literature! Great, well-rounded characters, highly detailed storytelling, and finally capped with a relatable main character. This indeed is a gem.
The start of the story seemed to set the plot up like an average cliché boarding school romance but once the first twist struck I knew this wasn't the case. The first few chapters left me wanting more, needing to read more of the story to understand what was happening, but the author uses 'show and not tell' techniques to leave little clues that hint at the truth without giving anything away.
Very nice story, I love the writing style and great grammar. Kudos to the author. The book is promising and packed with suspense. Although I wish I could picture more of the scene.
