Love is something deep and unfathomable. Love can hurt and love can heal. No one has had their fair share of painful love more than Xiao Meng. From birth, his beauty has amazed mortals and immortals alike. Behind the beautiful façade is a heart full of scars. Xiao Meng shuts himself off from love for many reasons. After a terrible relationship with Lingruo, he does something unexpected in order to protect what she left behind. But in order to fully protect them, he must do something he dreads greatly.
