In a world where choices shape destinies, a man embarks on a relentless quest for self-mastery. Driven by an insatiable thirst for knowledge, performance, and freedom, he navigates the intricate balance between discipline and desire. His journey spans intellectual pursuits, physical excellence, and the search for deeper meaning—constantly oscillating between solitude and the longing for connection.
As he sharpens his mind through philosophy, languages, and scientific inquiry, his body follows suit, sculpted by the rigorous demands of athleticism. Yet, beneath his structured routine lies a battle against fleeting impulses and the ever-present question: What is truly worth pursuing?
Through reflections on success, failure, and personal transformation, Fragments of Discipline explores the paradox of ambition—the fine line between control and surrender, purpose and detachment. In the end, the protagonist must confront his greatest challenge: himself.
The characters are captivating and engaging, an interesting plot, it all adds up to the great plot, the budding writer looks quite promising.
A great book. Love the creation and the places. WHat will happen to "The Wanderer"? I am very curious about. The characters are captivating and engaging.
great to see a friend creating a universe! I can't wait for the next chapters. I worked with him and never imagined that he would be a literary genius.
my God! this book is incredible! looking forward to the next chapters. I already thought the author was a great friend but as a writer he is wonderful
Its good to see new people trying their hands at writting. Its even good when those people are your friends... keep the good work Buba! Lets see what your story will become...
Great book. I liked the world created and the mythology used
It's so nice to read something that feels real and yet is in a fantasy world. The allegories are amazing, it really reminded me of "The Lord of the Rings" the author's probable reference. I liked the characters. I enjoyed the world of BACU and am looking forward to discovering the wanderer's quest. Congratulations on the work, it made my month better and the expectation for the next chapters makes me anxious, but excited. Please don't screw it up.
Great book, i'm in love with It, write more please!
great book. great job. love it. lots of fun
An excellent book of fiction and fantasy. I really enjoyed the universe created and the characters. "The wanderer" is a hero who will captivate people.
i am just the writer, trying to sell my book. Sometimes i believe in my material so much and sometimes i want to delete it all, and forget what i did and just live with the shame, but always in the end, i am happy about have made, even that the chapter sucks. like Charles said: " don t try it. only if you must, like not doing would kill you from inside. so create for me, is a force that acts by itself and make me create, most works are bad, but i trully believe that something may be usefull to someone lost and alone
I obviously recommend my book, but it really would be my type of read. A combination (sometimes) too obvious, fantasy with real problems of modern society, especially the author. But as the master, stephen king said: all our characters carry a little bit of us. Thus, my characters and events in the book are, in the same way that they represent my view of the world, situations I see and people I know. I can say that the purpose of the book is to represent each one's hero's journey, as we are all protagonists in our biographies.
