Synopsis

Important Notice: This book will be in Hiatus because I wish to focus on my other book, MMORPG: Crowd Control! Thank you for your understandings!

"I only harnessed a little bit of her yin energy, why is everyone trying to kill me?" Lee Tao cried aloud.

=====================

Do you know what is the correct method to cultivate?

Normal, old boring cultivation in a lotus position?

Dual Cultivation with a jade beauty?

Consuming alchemy pills to cultivate?

If you had chosen any of the above, you’re wrong. It's none of those.

The correct method is obviously to harness the cultivation of others for yourself.

Why work hard when you can work smart?

Lee Tao is the one and only Harness Cultivator who extracts the profound qi of other cultivators to strengthen himself and become unparalleled in the vast heavens without the need to lift a single finger.

Lee Tao's here to answer all of your questions and doubts. However, don't expect me to give you everything. And the rating I gave to myself... do I even to explain? I'm Lee Tao, the one and only Harness Cultivator in the universe.

[Reviewed on: 26-09-2021] [Reading status: 8 chapters] -.-.-.-.- [Strong points:] - The lighter tone is kept throughout the chapters, giving it a fully blended humorous style fused with cultivation genre. - You must've seen many books with the particular fusion but what makes this book different (in my opinion) is the MC's savage personality. - The author has improved visibly in crafting out an MC with the flaw and at the same time with the geniuses and clear aim. The MC is consistently sharp with his tongue and playful. - Another aspect I laughed upon was the turning of cliches upside down, you'll know this when you reach chapter 5-7 - A reasonable amount of information in sprinkled in the initial chapters, which didn't make it hard to swallow that there are 3 girls with MC and a headmistress who is intrigued by him, along with the female receptionist who became chanted by him. - Another good aspect are vaguely displayed double meaning jokes, however in some places it's stated in clear words. But the lighter comedic tone didn't make it appear cringe. - I can foresee ha-rem (intentionally written like this cuz comments get deleted, it's a forbidden word) although I still believe that the MC is stuck with the 1st girl he met in chapter 1. - The relationship of MC's parents is itself kinda amusing, and I was really glad to read a powerful mother instead of weak and oppressive one. - The storyline is fused with 'system' too, which however didn't feel heavily influenced since it's a lo-li girl guiding the MC. Although the plot leaves numerous questions unanswered and to ponder. - The narration is highly readable, as far as in 8 chapters I didn't see any flaws and mistakes. The chapters have something intriguing to say to the readers. [Weakness:] - As far as in initial 8 chapters, none! -.-.-.-.- [Strong point: fast pace | adult comedy] [Weak point: none in initial 8 chapters]

Perhaps my biggest issue is the lack of any descriptions of either settings or people. As a reader, you have no idea what any of the characters look like beyond some of them being simply described as "jade beauty". No hair/eye colour, hairstyle, clothes, places or settings are described, nothing about the architecture, décor, I'm not even 100% sure on what era this is set in or the current level of technology. Additionally, up to chapter 40 at least, there isn't any real sign of an overarching plot, beyond some vague hints in chapter 1. There is some conflict with "young masters", however the face slapping is unsatisfying as the "villains" have no real build up or development. The protagonist is OP but there's no real sign of any intelligence behind his actions and no plotting or planning. I can see why some people might enjoy it, but it's not for me.

I like to read cultivation stories, especially those that are light hearted with a touch of comedy. This novel have those things and I am very happy to leave my mark on this novel. May the author continue to do a good job and soar to the skies like a dragon. I look forward in seeing how the MC would become a dragon amongst men.

I read up until almost 10 chapters and I can only tell you guys to read it!! It's so fun! I usually don't read cultivation novels but this one is like an all-in-one. You get to see the author's awesome humor, great plot and world design. So let's take it from the top, Writing Quality : I absolutely enjoy how the text is easy to understand. Every line is carefully written and intrigues me to read more. I didn't notice any errors either. Updates : Updates are great so far. Story Development : The story is great. It shows the problems MC has to face but I like how the MC is witty and playful and gets over his problems, like not being able to cultivate but solving it though.... harnessing xD. Character Design : The MC is funny, quick-witted, not stupid at all and fit for the cultivation set-up. I like his overall personality. Also his kid version is soooo cute. The side characters are so sassy though. Always there to balance things out with the quick-witted MC. Specially the loli girl. World Background : Not complicated to understand. I think the author explained each part in detail. It compliments the story. I really liked the academy setting. Conclusion : If you haven't read this yet then you're missing out.

I would like to say that you are looking for comedy, cultivation, lots of events, and a MC that makes you to shake them and laugh at them, then this is the novel. The chapter starts off with a chase and you already get the idea of what is happening off the bat. I enjoy reading about Lee Tao cause Author writes him in an entertaining comedic way! Keep it up Author!!

Harness Cultivator is a fairly fast-paced story that is perfect for readers who seek and enjoy the thrills of cultivation novels and the familiar tropes present in them. > Made to return to the lowest realm to start his cultivation once more > Rebirth/Transmigrated into a new born baby > "Cheat" known as a "System" (A Loli Girl) > Faceslapping > Beauties and Young Masters who are looking for beauties > And many more recognizable tropes to enjoy The unique twist present in this story is the MC's ability to 'harness' qi differently from others. The MC's personality is humorous by being straightforward and surprising other characters by his sheer lack of concern towards their schemes, plots and other agenda. Naturally, as they're still small fry to him. If you enjoy characters who'll advance and ascend to the heavens with his unique skill set then you can buckle in for a ride! This story has left me curious and engaged of what it has more to offer as it gives information about the world, characters only when necessary. There's no long narrative about the world that will bore you to death at all, and instead takes you immediately on the story of Lee Tao. To drop my reviewer hat and simply gush on about this story... here are a couple of things that interest me as a character background lover. Minor Spoiler warning: 1. Before Lee Tao reached Ninth Heaven, where was he originally from? 2. What was his childhood experience like before he learned how to obtain profound qi from other people? Did he know of it from the start or did he accidentally get it? 3. The MC doesn't seem particularly attached to people and just takes in their profound qi for his own benefit, dog-eat-dog world, but he has a soft spot for Tian Meifen... how did they meet? Of course, these questions will probably be answered if I keep reading xD But yeah, those are the good stuff I particularly enjoyed while reading. Thanks for recommending it!
