Hallowed Be
Two years after Prince Heiko witnessed the death of his father during the 91st Battle of Tyton, and subsequently, the defeat of his kingdom, he was sent to the gates of the victor, armed with nothing but empty words and a command from his elder brother to form a treaty of peace.
Two years after General Celestino Adesso released the arrow that felled the great king of Simo, he is presented with the youngest of his sons. Though barely a man at seventeen summers, the prince was far from wet behind the ears. In fact, his tactful yet brazen form of statecraft vaulted him far beyond his years. Coupled with his draconian mannerisms, and a knack for callous pleasure, it was only a matter of time before Celestino caught a whiff of something sinister.
But Prince Heiko was no fool. He was betting heavily on that sharp nose. He wanted a sense of dubiety to gnaw at the general. He needed to create mistrust in his elder brother in order to build credence in himself. Because he knew of Celestino Adesso, and of the illustrious king he served. He knew they wouldn't trust him over his elder brother any more than they would trust a raincloud to bring sun. He knew that to those men, he wasn't honorable, and because of that, he was forced to play the games he was known for. The ones that conspired in the dead of night, the ones that spoke no words but shifted kingdoms. The ones that could obtain the allegiance of General Celestino. Little did the young prince know, however, allegiance was not all he would obtain. But no matter how much Heiko wanted to offer the man what he desired, he could not - not while bound to the gods.

I'm a sucker for well-thought stories like this. It deserves to be showcased from bookstore shelves. While reading I found myself wishing that I can write stories as good as this one, even the one I'm currently writing doesn't stand a chance ahahaha
The story is complex enough to make you hooked and mystified by it. I can sense that this work was well thought out and I am happy to say that it has quality. The story also progresses nicely that I am thrilled to read chap to chap. Kudos for a job well done!
This is amazing. I loved the historical romance and especially when it is filled with tragedy, suspense and thrillers. This git it all. I am team Prince Heiko... I am sure he's gonna make it to the top along with this book. Good work author
Very good read, its a long time since I actively waited for updates but this work is very very good. I am very intrigued by the character dynamics and also the motivations and mysteries surrounding one particular character who honestly started out more than a little unlikeable but I’ve been taken in by him now, so well done author!

I was fortunate enough to read this story when released as novel format. I quickly fell in love with it, I absolutely adored the main character and the impending romance that is such a slow burn! I truly wish I could read it again for the first time. The author was kind enough to let me know of their move to this platform where the story will continue and I’m so glad the story is receiving much deserved love. Everyone should give this story a try!

Super fast paced; multiple points of view, which makes it more interesting; a good mix of character and world building in the first few chapters!
A story that would not be out of place in the top shelf of your favorite bookstore. Extremely well thought out and well worded. (I won't lie, I had to look up a word at least once per chapter. My English teacher would be proud.) Realistic characters and relationships, beautiful dialogues and witty writing. 1000000% recommended
