This is my first book. Is it a 5-star read? Maybe, maybe not. In my heart, it is, and I will do anything to make it the same in the hearts of my readers too. Let's treat this review as a Q&A session. I'll try to answer any questions you have.
Completely unbiased review. I'm definitely not writing this just to boost the rating of my good friend, Velstad's novel. Great novel, highly recommend it.
Everlasting Nightmare is an interesting read. You are introduced to interesting characters, allied or enemy. They don't feel empty or void of personality, and they fit well into the novel. The world we're thrown in so far is quite interesting, with its magic quite well designed. The way it's written is also quite masterful. The description are vivid and you feel as if you're on the scene. Some sentences really left me speechless, as they really grasped the scene and painted a clear picture, while keeping us immersed. Tension is well exploited, and leaves me wanting more, hopefully to get some of my questions answered. So far, I enjoy this novel :).
