Kendall meets her college senior, Romain, a few weeks after her breakup. He convinces her to play the role of his fiancee to get on his father's good side which she agrees, after emphasizing that their relationship will be nothing more than a casual one.



Alain gets into a situation which almost costs him his life but was saved by a female wearing a designer green jacket with a crescent tattoo on her skin over her trapezius, close to the neck. He wakes up the next morning and swears he will find her. As a business minded man with an almost zero social life, he made up his mind he was going to get to know that woman, and marry her.



Romain introduces Kendall to his father on the night of the company's anniversary, making his father proud of him. Alain catches Kendall's eyes, and she can't stop staring at him. She decided she would try to get him to notice her too but takes a step back when Alain gets into a relationship with her best friend, Jayla.
