Synopsis

Zhang Jian crossed into a world of immortals...

So do you think that the next thing that will happen is that the protagonist will go through a life and death duel and eventually become a dominant party, or some other cliches growth plot?

No. Although this is a world full of cultivators and demons, Zhang Jian always thought he lived in an ordinary world.

In the eyes of others, he is a hidden master who doesn't like to fight, a compassionate person who doesn't want to see killing.

Outside, his partners have already been in wars with the enemy, while our protagonist is still in sweet dreamland.

As the saying goes, the storm's eye is the most peaceful location, and the protagonist is in this.

I haven’t read a lot but I did read some cause I couldn’t for the life of me understand why u had zero reviews and so little views in comparison to your over 150 chap book Some advice(I’ll update this in the replies cause I haven’ gotten far at all) Consider leaving more spaces, like make the paragraphs smaller. This way readers won’t feel overwhelmed with the hundreds of words in a chap as they come in bite sized format. Don’t make them too small, mind u Change your book cover Sadly people here especially judge a book by its cover So make it more interesting and representative of your story Write a self review on the pros and cons of your story so readers will have a basic idea of what they’re getting into That’s it for now and I hope u don’t drop any of your stories cause that would be sad Oh one last thing Write what makes you happy That’s the only way you can avoid burn out Sincerely, Cursed_Fluff

I expected copper but found gold…but for real though, this novel is hella underrated.Hopefully this gets attention, because the author absolutely deserves it.

The story starts out really well. The first 20 or so chapters are insanely narrative and very good. Once we get into the bulk of the story though, it starts to disappoint. The MC never educates himself to the world he is living in. The MC is an idiot and constantly misconstrues other characters meanings. The side characters are way more interesting then the MC. The side characters carry the story while the MC remains a joke. It was a very good read until the author turned up the stakes of the story, people dying around the MC, and then the MC remains ignorant. A fun story that became less fun over time and then turned into an annoyance. The story is a chore to read now. If you love passive and easily embarrasssd MCs that the FLs randomly fall in love with because “he’s the MC” you will like this book. Otherwise, you will question why a cultivation minded person(think murders) would find his timidness and aloofness endearing.

it starts well and then it kinda fizzles out, I've read a few novels with that trope already and that one doesn't stray far from it, the misunderstandings got stale pretty quickly. In the end I dropped it because I couldn't stand Lin Xi.
