While most teens saw Myriad Online as a game to have fun and earn money, Alyx Grey saw it as a revolutionary opportunity: for organized crime! From his perspective, the only difference between video games and racketeering was the terminology.
- Murder: PvP!
- War crimes: Quests!
- Theft: Looting!
- Poaching: Power leveling!
- Protection racketeering: Guilds!
- Arms trafficking: Auction houses!
- Pit fighting: Tournaments!
It was a utopia for an orphan who grew up in a crime syndicate. So when he got offered the game guide and a chance to play, he jumped in. However, before he could build his criminal empire, he first needed to gain power and destroy the syndicate underboss who stole his life and freedom.

- Modern setting. Grey and his battle maids use guns, but there is magic and fantasy elements.
- After the [official launch], 98% of the story is wild, intergalactic adventuring.
- The few syndicate background chapters at the start give the story meaning.
- Not a villain novel, but the anti-hero is so anti it might as well be.
- Reserve judgment. While Grey's harem is a supernova of wholesome gold, his maids become worse criminals than he is. ;)
- If you get offended easily, this isn't your novel.

While it's brand new, there are character images, and I'll chat with just about anyone for any reason. See you there!

Video Game | MMORPG | Harem | System | Mechanic Genre | Weapon Modding | Sci-fi | Fantasy | Villain | Yanderes | Weak to Strong | Combat Maid Harem | Smart MC | Anti-hero | Billionaire | Ultra-Rich | Revenge | Beastkin | Cat Ears | Dark | Comedy | Action | Adventure | Romance
I love villain novels until the MC does something heinous and ruins it. That's why I'm loving this MC. He's dastardly but charms you into thinking that he's virtuous, right after streaming himself hustling people. He couldn't scream "I'm bad" louder if he spray painted a cop's windows with the officer inside. Despite that, I think he's good. It's like I'm reading a how to guide on Stockholm Syndrome. You'll see.
Really loving the novel so far. The MC is quite intelligent and shrewd. So far he is a shrewd businessman following the path of God Grid/Greed from Overgeared and actually becoming over-geared. He also reminds me of Felix from The Supremecy Games from his actions, sly tongue, and intelligence. The world resembles The Legendary Mechanic from how Sci-fi/ game-like it is. Can't say if there is any magic or such yet though. I really hope this novel continues to completion, would be a shame if it was dropped.
This novel's a blast if you're okay with a MC asking for trouble. It comes with the mobster theme because people hate criminals if they're the target so it makes enemies. Obviously. So when the MC uses player game features to hustle NPC's, it puts a target on his back and he even live streams it. I can hear the MCs stupid comments already. Here's the thing: it's wildly entertaining and the MC is cunning so he twists things so its impossible to touch him. Read it. It gets better by the chapter.
One word: yanderes. There's a yandere fairy, and a battle maid. Sold.
Another great Book, this author shows that they can write in different types of books. But still not lose that little flair that makes him unique. I like the book because it shows a different take on the normal MMORPG story type. While most books the MC just wants Power and to be at the top. This MC just wants to make a ton of money for people and has to get the power to do so. I enjoy the book
Author I really liked your novel. I was finding a novel like this for a long time. Everything is best. Character designs, World building, how you used some Mythical Gods, details about little things. I am sure you did a ton of research. Even presentation is great. And the best thing is Mc. His actions and his personality. At first he looks like a laidback guy. But when you notice how keen and smart he is, you will be his fan. I bet this novel would be one of the best novel in future if you keep it up like this.
Battle maid thing kinda bothered me at first but it's now the best part of the novel. Sorry for judging you. Here's a review as compensation.
The story is good. The characters feel real and unique. Just the lack of background sometimes can leave you a bit confused, otherwise it is a really awsome read. Enjoying it so far 😄
Yo guys, I have given too many fake reviews but I swear on my dead step mother that this one is a master piece. even I, as an author, learned a lot from this novel and its awesome author. You would be a fool if you spend coins, gifts and free passes anywhere else (excluding my own book xD). The writing 10/10 The theme 10/10 The humour 10/10 The uniqueness 10/10 What else do you need, author's nudes? All hail Margrave xD
This novel lives up to it's mobster synopsis from the official launch date (he goes in before hand). After that, the MC goes on a wild scamming spree and is downright rude about it. I'm loving it. It's petty gold.
As usual an interesting idea from Margrave. I've been following the Playboy-cultivator-in-the-apocalypse and so needed to see this one too, in part in a desire to see if there is a future for the playboy-cultivator-in-the-apocalypse. I was primed to see obvious improvement in the author's weak points. As in world background and world building. But I am disappointed once again Margrave is still making the same kind of mistakes in this story too. The author's usage of English is impeccable, dialogues are superb, characters feel alive and genuine in the playboy-cultivator-in-the-apocalypse and this hasn't changed in this story too. Although he didn't have enough time to show of his mad writing skillz in this story yet for the most part, I am not expecting a loss of quality at those parameters. But just like he did in the playboy-cultivator-in-the-apocalypse, he seems to epically fail in creating a well fleshed out setting in this story too. And it is not something that can be done in later chapters, the events occurring in the first 15 chapters were mostly meaningless with this lack of information on the setting. The ridiculously badly done world building in contrast to the intriguing characters, dialogues etc. frustrates me even worse because of that contrast. It's like listening to the Shawshank Redemption without looking at the screen. I am frustrated once again seeing one more Margrave story just miss greatness despite being much more qualified than 99.9 percent of the stories on this app.
Need more chapters... Gedo Rinne Tensei No Jutsu!
only reason I'm reading this is because of wacrimes: quest. so if I don't like it imma just going to delete this but if I like the book then this review will more then likely stay up.
I need more chapters for my soul 😭 please i need more to fuel my novel addiction 🙏
Good
