"Guildbane: Battle for Domination," the virtual MMORPG that has taken the world by storm, players enter a realm where guilds vie for ultimate supremacy.
Set four years before Xin awakens from a coma, the game has undergone significant changes and evolved into a battleground for strategic guild warfare. With immersive gameplay, intense player-versus-player combat, and a focus on guild clashes, players must navigate a dynamic world where alliances are forged, rivalries are kindled, and the ultimate goal is to dominate the game's virtual landscape.
[CONGRATULATIONS! You’re the LAST player in your generation to enter this game at the exact time of our anniversary date!]
You don’t have to rub it on me. Xin muttered. He was keenly aware that his peers left him behind.
[You received a GIFT!]
Xin was baffled. Maybe because it was his birthday, or it was an anniversary thing?
Opening the gift, his avatar glowed, but he didn’t feel like anything had changed.
He opened his stat box.

The series is very interesting, especially for those who like games without mixing reality and virtual so much (something I prefer), interesting character and the same goes for his class, good potential. However, something that I think could be improved, the concept of infinite charisma is very interesting and fun, but I found it a little wasted, firstly I think that charisma should not be limited to conquering others romantically, being intimate and having high charisma should not imply developing romantic relationship or feelings for the other, especially when the MC in his speech and behavior does not bring any hint of romance or flirtation. On the contrary, it becomes a little annoying constant marriage proposals or NPCs falling in love, even if it was a little fun in the beginning, having charisma and intimacy can define different relationship sensations, such as respect, friendship, brotherhood, admiration, without needing to fall in love. , in addition to the fact that only women fall in love and propose to the MC makes this construction illogical, at least if it were for everyone to fall in love with the MC it should apply to both genders.... Another author point, being a non-harem series, having several women constantly fall in love (in real life and in the game) with the MC, doesn't really give the idea of non-harem, on the contrary, it seems to insinuate a future harem, especially when there is a greater presence of female characters than male characters in the series. I think it would be interesting to rethink the concept of charisma and intimate relationships, especially when it's a non-harem series. In any case, the series has an excellent construction of the real world and the virtual world. A well-established game with a good explanation and variety of races, classes and skills, and interesting things... I especially liked the MC class, I found it quite fascinating... But the points above I think are interesting to rethink, I particularly think that the fact of bringing several scenes from the real world is not so necessary, after all it is still a series focused on virtual reality and I think moderation is necessary in this return to reality.
I will start off by saying this i like the story and the characters, but this novel is on the extreme side for descriptives. when I say extreme side of descriptives i mean if the MC enters a location, looks at a person, looks at a location or direction there will be a half chapter dedicated to describing it. this has been a consistent trend till chapter 130 that i have gotten to. so if you like to read moderate to fast pace novels this ain't it.
Good
Looks great. The first few chapters kinda threw me off but it turned out well in the end
This book is entertaining, fun, and creative. I love the characters and the plot so far and can't wait to see what our little Xin gets himself into. I like that the book doesn't just focus on the virtual world, like some books do. I definitely look forward to future updates.
not a bad book so far, will update my review as i go. So far only a couple of annoy cliches that will likely be resolved soon.
I liked it a lot, in recent times this novel was a breath of fresh air. Nothing too cliche which was nice, sometimes sure you will think some characters acted dumb, but not often, MC isnt a simp, female lead is funny and cunning atleast for me, some comedy in the mix is very well made atleast for my taste. First 15 chaps were okay, but later it got better atleast in my opinion. Short version- worth a try, 50 chapters is enough for you to know if you like it as the style/actions stay mostly consistent
great book few spelling and other grammar mistakes but great story I started reading yesterday and am already almost 200 chapters in
