Synopsis

Knight Marion Kirscient is sent by King Agis to find the dragon who killed his heir and have the creature pay for its crime. But when the elf gets to the dragon's lair, they find it empty, save for the presumed dead prince, who they rescue from captivity.

They don't know that Prince Eris Magan is actually the dragon, though he is reluctant to say anything about his natural ability.

Throughout their journey to the capital, a romance sparks to life between the two. When Eris’ true nature comes to light, the knight is outraged. But that’s not the only secret they discover. Apparently, King Agis a particularly jealous and territorial dragon, that is willing to sacrifice his own son to keep his position.

Now, Marion must decide if they are to obey their king, or to usurp him and put Eris on the throne, risking a war with one of the most dangerous creatures ever known.

I do not normally comment or post reviews but I'll give an actual review given the past two/only other two reviews on this so far are as of the time of posting made by accounts with no hours of reading and made day of just to try and attack the book. So, given my own support of it, I'll break it down point by point to the best of my ability.Writing quality: Pretty good, it isn't a poorly translated mess, you can tell at times that the writer is very passionate about certain scenes.Story development: Given the nature being fantasy romance, it's pretty good about keeping you on your toes. Issues popping up throughout, seemingly both more mundane and not at the same time. It's a good mix overall.Character design: It's decent. There's definite thought put into the main characters as well as the side characters.Update stability: Breath of fresh air. I am happy to have something that is not ever updating. What you see is what you get, and it is in a nice sized amount.World background: This is probably the best part for me, neat concepts in the world building and referenced things which I would enjoy to see expanded in any related works in the future as concepts.Overall, I think it's a neat little trip, and although there is a slew of fantasy and fantasy romance out there that is not particularly interesting, this is a nice bite-sized piece.

The author of this work has a gift for description. A vivid picture is drawn for the reader that leaves just enough for the imagination. Once you fall into the flow of the story, it will be difficult to stop. I look forward to reading more 🥰

A derivative attempt to strike out among a sea of mundane doppelgängers, this sophomoric author needs to evolve past his adolescence from sucking the proverbial fairytale teat and unto mature writing.
