In the year of 2172, ST is a sarcastic young hacker who'll have to work with the honorable officer Sun to defeat authoritarian forces ruling the almighty city of #Tier-1.
Tier-1 is a futuristic city ruled by one strict Leader, however, other forces share determinant power over the citizens. While the city leadership rules ruthlessly to maintain order and constant progress, an organization known as the Trinity controls the underworld in the shadows of the slums.
The triangle of power is completed by the Mask. A secret movement for identity that aims to put down the oppressive leadership and restore the city's origins from centuries ago.
Sato, an individualistic citizen of Tier-1, is a freelance hacker and photographer born and raised between the metropolis' skyscrapers. His burning disregard for authorities is tested after a random encounter with Officer Abrom, a noble woman member of the city Force.
I was lucky to find this novel, it's a true hidden gem. (the novel is at 40 chapters when i write this review) What i like about it is the realism. There are no superpower or black technology. The MC is not a super genius how can predict what the enemy will eat next week because of one of his action. Or a sociopath who will do anything and sacrifice everyone to achieve a goal. The second think i like is the description of the environment. What i mean by that is that you can feel and imagine the world of the MC really easily. You just have to read the first chapter to understand what i mean immediately. One of the best beginning i ever read. Finally, the characters. The only think a can say about them is that what we don't have in quantity, we have in quality. And to somebody who always forgets names like me, it's a godsend.
I don't know what to say... Just wow... Really just read it, it's only 54 chapters, (when I'm writing this review) you won't regret it. That's a novel worth 5 stars maybe even more. Hope the quality won't change, for the worse, and/or novel dropped.
So far the plot has been very exciting and mysterious. There's all these "institutions" in the city and they're all against each other and St seems like the perfect antihero. Also officer sun with her red hair 👀👀👌🏽
Promising plot. The world seems so dark and bright at the same time, the descriptions are great. Also the main character is cool since its not the typical “good guy”
