However, everything changes when a Dao Tablet manifests in his sea of consciousness.
This Dao Tablet allows him to comprehend Immortal array techniques, infinitely enhancing his spiritual consciousness
Mo Hua will use the Dao Tablet to shatter cultivation barriers, forging an unparalleled spiritual consciousness.
He will fully master the Immortal Dao arrays, striving for the path to immortality!
I have read up to chapter 100, so I feel like I can finally give a fair review. Firstly, this feels more like a slice-of-life story rather than a cultivation webnovel. Even 100 chapters in, the MC is only at the fourth realm of Qi Gathering. The world-building also feels inconsistent. For example, everything seems to require spirit stones—the oven, the food stalls, and more. Another issue is the MC’s mother getting injured. Are you telling me a Qi Gathering cultivator can get injured from cooking? That seems unrealistic. Then there’s the MC’s extreme naivety. In chapter 100, he gets a commission to engrave arrays on armor. The normal price for this is 50 spirit stones, but he’s offered only 8. So what does he do? He asks for 3 instead. Like, come on. [img=sad] There are many other instances, but I think this is enough to get my point across. If you’re a fan of a chill, laid-back MC without much ambition, this story might be for you. Otherwise, I honestly don’t think you’ll enjoy it.
It is kinda unique, I couldn't imagine a cultivation novel with so less battles, even the ones in which the MC is trying to hide has more battles than this one. Then why the 5 star rating? Because it is fucking good! Read for yourself I am not eloquent enough to explain why..
