A Hero in Hiding – MCU - Fanfiction.
A young man from an earth with no magic that reincarnated in a world where magic and wizards are commonplace. He stole some stuff and used forbidden magic to try and return to his original world. Something went wrong and he found himself in an earth that is different form his earth. Born in 1800s somewhere in Africa. In the body of a newborn baby of a group of merchants that settled in Africa. He did not give up on returning home but he lacks mana for another try. So, he decided to build a wizard tower. It will take several centuries for the tower to gather enough mana. While waiting, he decided to play around. That is when he found Captain America. After that, he decided to be another hero in MCU.
He is only an apprentice wizard and he need to rank up into an official wizard to return home.
There are two ways to rank up as an official wizard. Traditional and Faith-based. The traditional way involves rigorous/arduous training and long-term accumulation of mana to finally break through the shackles of mortality. The steps to become one is easy and clear. The only problem is the low success rate. The rewards are great though, immortality. Unending lifespan. As long as there is mana.
Faith-based involves making people depend on you. This involves becoming their champion and protector. There is one drawback to this. You become bound to that world. Those who became official wizards through such actions are unable to leave their world, much less travel to other dimensions. They can only gather mana through the people they protect. That is why most would not choose this.
This is the reason why MC does not want anyone to know about him. And why he needs to use different personas and change them every now and then.
frankly mc is a idiot and what is happening in the story is unrealistic even in ff. this dude's intial goal is no one should know him but he becomes world's richest and powerful general on par with captain america. biggest joke is , he makes a contract with fury to make Natasha love him. I don't know what to say, except sorry to the reader's like me for wasting time. good try though author
Hi! Just writing my own review. I thought i made a simple story of how i would like things to be but i noticed a comment on one of the chapters and i realized that i forgot to explain a few things. I wrote it as fast as i could and ignored many things. so, if i have time in the future i would change a lot of things. but i would not erase the earlier chapters. hopefully, i can learn a few things from the constructive comments of the readers and grow as a writer. thanks.

Really intresting story... A little rough around the edges but it has a strange twist compared to the normal MCU stories. I hope the author can keep on updating I truly enjoy it!

This book was interesting it was like watching someone speed run through a story from a distance it was weird but not unpleasant and at the end of it all it just ended up feeling like I was on an acid trip it was a cool story not for everyone but I liked it
