Rinnie Everfell had always dreamed of going beyond the castle wall. The day that dream came true was also the day everyone she held dear died in the hands of the rebels. Bound by a promise to survive, she ran for her life, only to encounter a naked man deep in the woods.

“Rinnie,” he called with his warm baritone voice and placed his palm against the door to stop me from leaving.
“You are a werewolf and your destined mate for life will be chosen by fate,” I whispered as I turned around to face him. “It was said that once you find your true mate, it was by instinct, by the maddening desires, by nature, telling you that was the mate you will love passionately for life.”
“I am not that mate, Hugo,” I stressed my claim adamantly. “Rejecting your mate also means rejecting your destiny.”
SLAM!
His pair of crimson eyes glowed menacingly as he slammed his palm against the door. I fought the fear that instantly crept into my heart.
“Destiny? Fate?” My back fused against the door as he bent over until his face was a palm length away from mine. “And who is this Destiny Fate to decide for me?”
“Hugo—”
“I decide for myself, Rinnie.” He seethed as his fangs let themselves known. “If I say you are my one true mate, then you are my one true mate. If this world disagrees, then let it be damned.”
Little did Rinnie know, dealing with the devious, narcissistic, and a walking red flag Alpha, who was bold enough to go against his fate, would be the least of her concerns. With people after her, the secret of her identity, and the rotting truth of her "perfect life" slowly unveiling its covers, Rinnie must find a way to survive the vicious world of werewolves and vampires.

I am a huge fan of werewolf and vampire stories. I have been immersed in The Dukes Passion and was wondering what other amazing works were available by this author. Thats when I found this one. 🎉 Its one of my absolute favorites right now! The author's character and story development are among the best I've seen here on Webnovel. Its also nice to be able to just read and not have to trudge though extensive grammatical errors. It is very obvious that this author cares about their updates and the quality of their work. Im on the west coast of the US so its been so nice to wake up and read the latest chapters from the two books from this author. 😊 Hopefully anyone reading this review will download this book to their library and enjoy it as much as I am.
Author excels at creating interesting characters that will keep a reader entertained and on edge about what happens next. This story has a sweet turned sexy love story and a suspenseful story. Very good read!
First of All, this author is so great in words and writes a great storyline! She never seized to amaze! This storg is so fresh not the typittypital werewolf, not the rude and cunning in-laws... I can assure you 💯% this is an amazing story! This is not the first book I have read from this author. she deserves a trophy and a spot on top 5.
I have read this novel even before it was posted so I already knew it will be great. Anyone should be hooked from the very beginning as action doesnt fail to amaze us. I can’t wait to read more and explore the world you create.😇

I love this book!!! I was never really a fan of the whole vampire, werewolves genre until reading this author's work. You get completely sucked into the characters. Don't sit on the fence it's a must read and please check out all her other work. trust me you will not be disappointed 😊
after 250+ chapters. if you think, then read this. if you want a different warewolf/vampire story, read this. This is not the typical I see my mate, energies flow, I mark, and happily ever after kind of story. as the title says, it's about choices, about thinking and making decisions, it's about grey and black n white, it's about emotions as much as strategy. Read this book, you will like it!

Another fine masterpiece of this author. You feel the ups and downs. You feel being sucked in. You find the chapter update can't catch up to your reading pace. I feel all that. You won't be disappointed, and the coins you spend on the privileged chapters are worthy!

i love reading this novel. the interactions between rinnie and hugo are always entertaining. i hope that rinnie is also a part of the supernatural world. even if she isn´t, it is clear that she is special (especially to hugo). i love that we see the story from both their perspectives. that makes it clear that hugo really cares for rinnie. i highly recommend this novel!!!!!!
This one is so good! The grammar and use of words is good. Not perfect, but not all over the place, so it's easy to read. Just to explain the reason I deducted one star on writing quality. More importantly! The sexual tension will surely be great, judging by the hints the early chapters dropped, but before we get there, the way this is funny has me on my knees. The little things the charcters do and say, confident in their way to express themselves, while the other party catches something entirely different... 🤣 It's the best kind of misunderstanding in a story. I love it! ❤️ Thank you so much for this story, author! ❤️
