the story was going great but what I don't understand is about the strength of the FL to jump from 4 floor without injury. This is ok. Too much has happened in the first 20 chapters that don’t make sense from a plot/story progression. And please tell me the mistress/2nd wife and illegitimate half sister & brother are not actually Murongs? Please?
This is just really bad, like at first it's a little interesting than it goes downhill. The characters make no sense. The love between the ML and FL is really dry.
i would say if u want a good story novel then don't read it... it becomes totally worthless at some points ... and the characters are predictable to the point where u might end up questioning ur life choices...

At first, I liked the book because the FL has a straightforward character but I dislike the ML cuz he’s too headstrong and overbearing. I hate the way he speaks to his mum and friends. He has no sense of respect, I thought he and his mum were enemies from the way they spoke to each other. Plus I hate the author comments about Africa. Anyways what is a Chinese novel without an insultive remark about Africa? let me stop here….. Anyways all the villains are brain dead and reading this just a waste of my time….🚮
