Amelia chose the least sane option and ran away from home.
“Getting married before 25 is like leaving a party at 8pm, NOT FUN, take it from me.”- Amelia the “wise” person.
Amelia Smith, heiress of the Smith family, daughter of the CEO of Oasis and granddaughter to the Chairman of the largest jewellery company in the country, had to marry some dude she never met. The “dude” whom she had to marry was Jason Wilson, a very famous actor with the prestigious title “Movie King”, the second son of the Wilson family.
“Can you guys believe that he literally begged to marry me?”- Amelia
Author: I can’t, and you are literally my creation.
Amelia: “And because of that, I’m being forced to marry him! I know I’m pretty and that many people want to marry me, but what I want is to find my own true love!”
Author: Tone it down, you’re being cringy.
Amelia: -_-
“Okay, so you ran away. How’s that going on for you?” you may ask.
Amelia: In a very weird-
Author: But completely believable way!
Amelia: LET ME SPEAK! Ahem, where was I? Oh right! I ended up working for my “fiance’s” brother. -_-|||
*Scene*
“Wait! You’re the CEO of this company?!” Amelia almost shouted.
“Yes, Ms Luna Brown, I am the CEO of this company. And from now onwards, you are my servant” *cue an evil smirk followed by malicious laughter* Chris Wilson, the heir of the Wilson family, is the type to hold grudges, poor Amelia should not have offended him, especially since he is her boss.
“I think you meant ‘secretary’, I am not your servant” Amelia (fake name- Luna Brown) nervously laughed.
"…..same difference.” Chris Wilson said with a straight face.
*cut*
No big misunderstandings (I noticed the irony in the title, what I meant is that the misunderstanding won’t make you all frustrated), no snake like step-mothers or step-sisters.
A slow romance between the protagonists, and there is no extreme OPness, so the characters are believable.
Sorry, but no smutty or steamy scenes. This is a clean, slow romance and comedy novel :)
Hiii! The author CinnamonRoll here😅 This is my first story and I thank everyone who took the time and checked it. It actually means a lot😢 As I have mentioned, this is a slow romance so they main leads dont fall in love as fast one would expect😅 The build up of the story takes some time BUT I believe you will love it once everything sets into motion. The FL, Amelia, might appear slightly whiny but, it's her character, she's an entitled rich heiress, so keep that in mind😄 The main couple is Amelia and Chris and the other couple is Lisa and Jason. Both couples have a different story and chemistry and Lastly, if you're tired of seeing pushover and weak FLs, you should absolutely check my story out. Both the ladies are strong willed and determined, they are clever and they have a no-nonsense policy. Aaaaaaand this story has a lot of sarcasm and humour so do check it out if you wanna smile or laugh. As I had said, its my first story so if there are any mistakes try to ignore them, but if its a glaring error, do let me know by commenting😄 THANK YOU! 💜
Its got humour, I like it. And most importantly I'm a sucker for rom-coms so this certainly is on my reading list. Im really looking forward to further chapters 😄😊
It's been so long since I laughed like this after reading a novel. Seriously this is one of the best books out there. Fl just kills us with her humour and ml is not bad either..... Seriously everyone should give It a try
I don't usually read rom-coms but the story and writing is really funny and the plot is turning out to be interesting as well. For a new writer you this is a really good story-writing
I liked the strong female character. She is independent lively and lives her life fullest. Story development is also good . Light rom-com type stories are interesting to read.

Okay, I love the humour in this story and I really like the ML, he is not like the other MLs I have read about on this platform. Yeah, he starts out as the typical CEO guy but trust me he is much better and I love how relatable the FL is. She's sassy, funny and sarcastic. For someone's first story, it's a job well done. Keep it up, CinRoll! Looking forward to more stories from you.

MISS-UNDERSTANDING is a godsend novel to anyone who loves: romance, comedy, drama, girlish hi-jinks, overbearing mothers and aunties, and of course, $$$ MONEY $$$. With a super fun main character the author manages to grab your attention right off the bat, before sending her fleeing from an arranged marriage - you've just gotta know what happens, right?
