DXD: Inconvenient

Author here to give five stars because obviously it's my work so don't expect me to be 100% sincere as I see no reason to be haha, anyway that's it👍

It's not bad but the biggest problem it has is its pacing. It is way too slow and basically nothing happens for the first 4 or 5 chapters.

The author wasn't kidding when they said the story was slow. The pacing is slow to the point that absolutely nothing is pushing the plot forward in the entire fifty-two chapters. Having to wait four plus months to get the same amount of chapters only for very little to happen, or even nothing is a bit much. If this was a completed story, there wouldn't be a problem because usually something decently big has to happen for the story end and regardless of how many boring chapters happen, the author HAS to push the story forward at some point to bring it to a close. This is not the case. While the story is interesting, it's not interesting enough. Add the slowness of the plot with the other issues, and you get a good story that turns sour due to bad decisions.

i like your story and i like the mc so far but it seems like u wrote the kind of mc that will get boring eventually i look to see how u keep the mc interesting , i also hope u make the harem unique , i tired of author just copy and pasting issei harem i like more variety . the only thing thankfully there isn't any character bashing , i cant take the fanfic author seriously if they decide to character bash.the only thing i I Don't like is how u treated issei character pls this didn't affect my review , i just dont like how u disregarded all of issei other character traits and just boiled his personality down to that of only being pervert and i like issei character and appreciate what the original author of dxd was trying to do

I'm liking the development of the story, it doesn't go very fast, the MC takes his time without rushing How the plot is going so far is excellent. It remains to be seen how it continues to develop.

It's a really good story, like others reviews mentioned it has a reaaally long startup, with the plot beginning in chapter 70 :P, but this start isn't bad or boring, quite the opposite actually. I guarantee that it's worth reading it. The mc gets a really interesting power that gives the author a lot of freedom and, so far, he's using this perk really well. Also, the author seems to has chosen a more "realistic" approach in regards of relationships (that means you probably won't see the mc trying to go for a girl just because she is beautiful. It's still a harem story though, don't get me wrong on that, the characters seems to have a more "realistic" viewpoint regarding love, specially when you take in to account their age, but the world still is DxD). The relations fells really natural up to this point, I love seeing how the mc is interacting with the girls and I am quite thrilled to see more of these moments. The major flaw of the author is that for some reason or another he has a unstable update frequency (meus pesames pela sua gata btw ;-;), but it's not that big deal. Another point to make is that there are a few spelling mistakes here and there, but since English isn't the author's main language, he is Brazilian, so that isn't unexpected. Enfim, agora que ja falei o geral... Pros brasileiros do site... Voces vao ter a chance de ver a Rias comendo baio de dois e farofa... KSKSKSKSKS eu ri tanto naquela cena, pelo amor de deus ksksksksksks

the one major issue with this fanfic is not that its slow pace but the fact that its too descriptive the author does not "show not tell" he "tell not show" so for half of the chapter all though long are just filled with unnecessary description like how the mc is not a skirt chaser then goes on a tangent on how he does not chase skirt

La historia parece interesante, pero tener solo 40 capitulos en medio año, asesina mi entusiasmo por leer la historia. Si la historia es de ritmo lento, al menos necesita más capitulos.

To start with the positives, this is extremely well written and has a good flow to it. It is very slow paced but it keeps moving along and is very enjoyable. The main negative to me is the MC, he just seems really underwhelming. He is a decent character and is well written but he doesn't feel like a MC for a DxD setting. He would be far better in something like Naruto, Marvel, Harry Potter, or DBZ. He just doesn't seem to belong to the setting despite being a decent character.

This is the best DXD fanfiction I have ever read, and that's crazy because theirs currently only around 30 chapters, please keep going author, and please never drop this series as it might be my last hope of ever reading a good DXD fanfiction in my whole life.

cool premise and plot but writing quality is really bad. you can spot here and there hownamateurish the writing is. dxd fics quality is always bad tho so this fic still one of the better one among it.
